My wife and I had one of the best meals in Quebec City here. We ordered the special casserole. It sounded like an odd combination of shrimp and Autumn root vegetables, but we figured why not experiment? We were so glad we did. We also liked the decor a lot. The whole experience compared favorably to meals we had in Paris. We'd definitely go back.

Recommended by several friends, this is a neighborhood place in Quebec City serving local products elegantly prepared. A warm and cozy space that’s lively but not overly loud. The food is phenomenal and the service is cheery and friendly. We’ll absolutely be back on our next visit.

It was a great meal and excellent service. Our server was fab. The bread is an absolute delight. The wine list was nice but our waiter recommended a lovely Quebec wine. Given it is farm to table and timing is everything providing feedback about specific dishes isn’t really helpful given that you may not have them again. Just appreciate that the food is prepared excellently. I would suggest you listen to your server. They are very knowledgeable. Enjoy!

Mushroom soup was wonderful. Some might call it bisque. It was a classy joint so I was discrete as I sopped up the soup that couldn't get with my spoon with my baguette. The green tea service was nice and the tea was good. The entree was fish of the day so I accept full blame for the natural taste but the chef should have tried harder. The risotto was bland, probably by design to allow the hazelnuts to shine through. Hazelnuts didn't work. Thankfully there were some roasted carrots to make things interesting. Pretty place but Tim Horton's coffe and crullers would have a been better investment.

Everything about our meal was excellent - pre-dinner drinks, appetizers, main courses, wine with dinner...we were too full for dessert but I'm sure that would have been delicious too. Service was friendly and very helpful. We will definitely go back if we return to Quebec in the future.

The first time I was invited to Le clocher penché, many many years ago, I said to myself I have to come back to this restaurant. And I did. Not as many times as I wanted but I try to go there whenever I am in Quebec City. What was comforting was the quality is still there. The entree mixing shrimps with veggies was a superb dish. And what followed, eggplant with zucchini, tomatoes and more was a great dish that I would recommend if you want to avoid meat. However, the eggplant was slightly burned. This happens often when you fry eggplant. The fish was in contrary perfectly cooked. The desserts were also a must. I recommend the Faisselle, which is a fresh cheese from cow milk, mixed with dry fruits and honey. 😋

We arrived in Quebec city in the afternoon and were staying in Saint Roche area so we really wanted a walkable restaurant. Luckily we got an early reservation and were the first ones in the restaurant. There were six of us and our waitress was excellent! She took the time to talk about all the items on the menu and make wine and/or cocktail recommendations . Our choices from the menu were all delicious and we walked away saying that the service was just fabulous! It was such a delightful way to be introduced to Quebec City! Keep up the good work!

We arrived at 7:15 for an 8pm reservation and the hostess sat us early without hesitation. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a neighborhood French bistro—lively and comfortable. The staff were all exceptionally friendly, attentive and informative. Our waitress explained each cocktail, wine, entree and dessert in great detail. I had the most fabulous cocktail that was citrus forward with a licorice undertone. I enjoyed the fish entree and my husband had the pork. After our meal the hostess (who we had chatted with during our meal and heard we were stay at Chateau Frontenac) was kind enough to offer to call us a taxi. The whole experience just made us feel welcome, cared for and satisfied. So glad we ventured outside of the historic area to try this wonderful restaurant.

8:30 reservation. Were seated at 8:15. Service was attentive and pleasant. Bread was good but not outstanding like some reviews say. Had heirloom tomatoes that weren’t. Pork osso bucco with Brussels sprouts, beets, spaghetti squash was very tender and flavorful. Crème brûlée was very good and not overly sweet. After dinner the server asked if we wanted her to call a taxi. We did. Nice touch. I recommend.

Very bad experience for the bread - wine - food and service and very $$$$$ you can have better somewhere else in Quebec for less. Cons: nothing extraordinary for the food. Stylish ingredients description but lack of taste. False smiley service. Pros: Nice ambiance, cosy neighborhood, clean, table setting very neat

Really enjoyed a fabulous meal here. Excellent attentive service. Each entree was explained to us in detail. The cannelloni appetizer, fish of the day that was a fabulous cod dish and veal dish were all excellent. Sauces were all so good.....wished we could have licked our plates! Loved the panna cotta dessert with sherbet...was such a wonderful blend of flavours. Tables in the back are quieter and cooler. Reservations are recommended. Street parking is a little challenging to find if you are driving.

Our best meal in Quebec by some way. Exemplary modern food, very well presented. The menu is not extensive, choosing to focus on quality instead. Service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was fully booked but we really liked the comfortable seats and small table we got at the bar. Great cocktails too.

We fell upon this lovely wine bar restaurant one night spontaneously and it was literally the best meal we had in Quebec City, which is saying a lot as the food scene is top notch a! The Guinea fowl WTH polenta is a must, as is the tomato tart. Trust me

My wife and I loved our dinner at this restaurant and would go back in a heartbeat. The service was excellent and very friendly. She had the char and I had the blood sausage appetizer and then the smoked beef shoulder. All of the dishes were very tasty. We shared the creme brûlée for desert, which was very appropriately sized for two people. Dinner here was one of our highlights in Quebec City.
