My wife and I were at Momento for supper before a show that was reserved close by at the Cegep. We shared a saumon side dish with a small salad, (marinated, smoked & flaked saumon). It was an excellent starter for 2. We then had...seafood(shellfish) spaghetti and linguini au 2 saumon. Both our plates were served in a very reasonable time and very hot. The RED wine list and temperature was excellent. I felt very safe (Covid wise). Perfect distances and all personnel wearing protective gear. DEFINATELY going back for more. Very good job staff.More

Our meals were delicious, we felt a bit uncomfortable after they found us to be only English speaking and questioned why the English menu was different than the French. Our server was more friendly as the meal progressed. The pasta was truly wonderful. I Would...recommend this restaurant,More

Wil I return....No and nobody else at out table will either....I also heard the guest at the next table complaining that the service was too fast. No time to enjoy....Same for our table...More

Had a very good meal here last evening. We got 2 different pastas (spaghetti and linguine) and both were tasty (spaghetti was the best). Ice cream and tiramisu were tasty as well.

Loved this restaurant! Very conveniently located on a major street with other shops etc. near by. We decided to head there for dinner, not knowing they would be closing in half an hour. The chef greeted us happily. Slow night, not too many diners. We...ordered a salmon dish (deliciously prepared with side veggies) and a manicotti with generous portions. Chef came and spoke with us, understanding my broken French. Very charming place and I wish I had had time to go back another time to try the Brie appetizer.More

Long story short, this place simply doesn't pander to my sort of needs. This place caters to the older older generation with many many regulars. I saw classic names but not classic recipes on the menu, the restaurant cuts corners with the ingredients and cooking,...was some stuff frozen, technically ham is prosciutto but I can taste the difference and I honestly didn't taste any pancetta. I ate a carbonara that wasn't very classic; the sauce should be made of egg white, parmesan, onions and rendered fat, not half a cup of heavy cream, I could literally spoon cream sauce from my plate. Wouldn't a recipe with that much cream be French and not Italian? I was expecting way more olive oil orientated items on the menu and maybe even a "charicuterie" board. I am convinced that this place is very appreciated by a certain type of older generation, it's probably there market and they should stick to it. They do have some sort of open bar remodeled design at the entrance going on and it sort of makes me question the whole direction of the restaurant, are they trying to attract a different type of clientele during a different time slot? My mother seems to have liked it, and I guess that's what's important. She liked the classic wine selection but she did happen to mention the various fonts and sizes on the menu bothering her; she is 70 and her sight isn't as good as it used to be. This restaurant will probably be around for many more years, there not trying to be adventurous and that's okay, i guess...More

Very nice food awesome service, they offer 15% discount on a limited choice in the table d'hote for show tickets owners. Fine dining means decent portions and a bit expensive. Soup was ok, not really tasty but was included. Walleye fish was absolutely perfect. Very...nice wine and dessert as well.More

Spent a great night in this restaurant very nice salmon tartar, marined and smoked combo, tartar could have been more spicy rest was awesome and very fresh. Had the Osso Buco veal that was amazing and a big portion. Tiramitsu was very well and originally...Italian made. Will go back there for sure!More

We were a family of four. EVERYTHING was impeccable: soup, entree, fondues. The steak was a notch above the best local steakhouse. Service was a little off, but nothing major. I would recommend to anyone.
