This was our first experience with authentic Canadian poutine and it could not have been any better. It is a total indulgence well worth the calories. We have had other poutine since then, yet none has measured up. Chez Ashton's combination of scrumptious fries smothered in rich gravy and squeaky cheese curds is out of this world, There's even a... Good place for lunch. Try the poutine, it is a dish from Quebec made with French Fries, fresh Cheese Curd and gravy, may sound weird but it is really tasty and their version of if is good.

We really enjoyed our poutine from here. We were told by a local that it is the best poutine in Quebec City (they do have 3 stores so they are very popular). The large is very large so be prepared to share! They serve burgers and other food, but we only tried the poutine, it was very filling. It is... More

A good poutine once in a while is really good. Take the spicy one. I woud also recommend costco for their poutine, they have big ones, it costs 5 or 6 dollars and the fries are very good

Locals love it.....we just came upon this since it was close to our hotel. Young man working behind the counter was so gracious and really tried his best to speak English with us. We ordered Cheeseburgers and Frites. Full bellies and happy customers!

Supposedly known for their poutine. Gravy was not particularly hot, so cheese curds were not melted. I finished wishing I had eaten elsewhere

Our kids loved this stop compared to some of the more formal restaurants we visited. It was a nice change of pace for them and we also liked the variety of poutine and sandwich/hot dog options.
