This really was the best burger I've ever had (and I've eaten a lot of burgers!). Also, the fries were wonderful, not greasy and very fresh. Lastly, the salad that came with the burger was also outstanding - fresh, with just enough dressing (not swimming in it). My husband said the Caesar's was the best he ever had. Whoever thought... We dined at this restaurant and were so impressed. Our server, Anne, worked very diligently to ensure that we understood the french menu. She went beyond being helpful as she was so cheerful. She stated that she loves her job and the restaurant and it shows! The vegan burger was beyond belief good! The green salad one of the best... More

Chez Victor is an easy 15 -20 minutes walk along Rue St Jean from Old Quebec. Believe me,the burgers are well worth the trip. Along the way are cute little boutique stores. We had Pork and brie, and salmon burgers with poutine on the side. Both were REALLY good. in fact I would say that it's the best pork burge... More

LOVED this restaurant. Farther off the beaten path from the normal tourist areas, so wasn't too sure if we would try it or not. But, it was great! Good atmosphere with brick walls, dim lighting and bar. No English menu so we had to decipher though. Had a brie, bell pepper burger that was amazing and salad with raspberry/maple dressing.... We went to this place twice because (1) is was good and relatively cheap and (2) it is hard to find a vegetarian-friendly restaurant in Quebec City unless you like pasta or pizza. They've got 4 different vegetarian patties to choose from and you can also have a veggie club sandwich. My husband tried the cereal/spinach and the veggie pate... More

Had the burger that has cream cheese on it and bacon and some other good stuff! Fantastic flavour. the Poutine was good, perhaps a little too much sauce. The caesar salad was incredible with bacon, croutons, anchovies, black olives and capers! The other burgers on the menu looked good too. Great little burger place. They made an effort to speak... Chez Victor is the place to go if you are a burger fan but want to try something a little more adventurous than a patty with some condiments. They have a great selection of burgers from regular beef to chicken, pork, and bison. Frequently you can have a choice of more exotic meats such as ostrich, wild boar, deer, elk,... More

I went for a beef burger but the description of the pork burger was so appealing that I got that instead, and I wasn't disappointed. It was a great burger, which was even greater with addition of some curry mayo. Their cole slaw also ranks up there as one of my favourites - not drowning in mayo, with a subtle... More

The owner of the Chateau de Tourelles suggested we dine at Chez Victor as it is one of his favorites. The restaurant is small and instead of waiting for a table (which would have only been a few minutes) we opted to dine at the bar (three seater). I had a spinach and nut veggie burger with lettuce, tomatoes and... More

These may not be the world's best burgers, but they must be close. We have been going to Victor's for years now and two things strike me each time: the standard is consistent and after each meal I feel satisfied enough to want to go back again. Can't say that about the majority of burger places. Set in a fairly... More
