After getting wrong directions to a recommended restaurant from our hotel desk clerk, we ended up here by accident. Very glad we did as it was a very nice surprise. We asked for English menus & were quickly accommodated by an English speaking maitre d...but the server for our table spoke not a word of it. Even tho we told her we did not understand her, she continued to speak French. As we could not order that way, we again asked for help in English. A young man named Sam then appeared and the evening was saved! The food was great & Sam was even better. We had fish & chips: good; seafood pasta: excellent & cream puffs smothered in chocolate: excellent. Prices were reasonable & Sam was well rewarded.More

I really like this place. I find that it is one of the best value for your money restaurants in Sherbrooke. They have really great breakfasts and lunchtime specials with a huge variety. They also have great promotions for evening dining. The prices are really...reasonable. The service is always friendly and the little warm buns that they serve as your entree are just fantastic!!More

Thay had an extensive Menu with good service. We had the breakfast crepes which were good. Pleasing decor.

You will always be well served at this nice locally owned restaurant. A very expansive menu, a place you can bring kids or a group.

We tend to sleep in on vacation so we always appreciate places that serve breakfast later in the day. Restaurant Twist has pleasant decor, good services, tasty food, and good coffee! Wow, everything's excellent. Food and service! We went there with hockey team (age 18 to 21yrs old) for lunch. We were very impressed with their service for large group like ours:). Guess what? our boys wanted to go there again for breakfast next day.

Great omelets! Wife had the eggs bennie with Canadian bacon. Hash browns were top shelf too. It's open for breakfast lunch and dinner.

I have been to Twist many times, it is always with a larger group. The menu is relatively extensive. From pizza to salads, to fish. And just about everything in between. Skip the breakfast, have lunch. I had the lunch special with a Cesar salad...with Thai chicken, skip it, the Thai flavor just didn't go well with the Cesar salad. The guy next to me had the shrimp and was raving about it. My wife had a pepperoni pizza and French fries. It was somewhat good, a pleasant surprise as I would not have ordered pizza in a place like this. Another guy had fish and chips, he didn't say much until the meal was finished and the plate was clean, must have been good. Dessert was disappointing for me (black Forrest cake) the white cake with caramel sauce and ice cream was good. We will probably be back, it is a decent meal at a reasonable price. I've been here a few times now with large groups and it's a great restaurant that allows each to find something to their liking. Portions are generous for the price. Although there's nothing so far that I've found mind blowing, all plates are good.
