A charming little restaurant with good food and very slow service. One or two of our dishes were exceptional and the others very good. The service was very slow despite the place being kinda empty when we got there - no drink orders for about 15 mins. And once we had finished eating, we waited for at least 30 mins for our dishes to be cleared despite our server leaning back and texting behind the cash register. And there were flies buzzing around. But besides all that, we're giving it 4/5 stars because the dishes were very tasty.

Top-notch atmosphere and cuisine in this café restaurant in Taddoussac. At lunchtime there are gourmet plates and even several assortments of dishes for the morning, very warm atmosphere. We had the plant-based poutine which was very good and the hiker where you can find a large pot of yogurt with fruit, granola with fruit and a blueberry bagel. Honestly at the top. To advice

super nice address in Tadoussac! We went there for dinner and brunch after our “whale” outing. Well-cooked, original dishes, a great discovery. Certainly the Bohème café does not take reservations so we waited 30 minutes on the heated covered terrace but without regrets! The mushroom fricassee was great, the Charlevoix char perfectly cooked, tasty (and very well “de-arrested”), as well as the vegetables that accompanied it. In the end we fell for dessert, the courser des bois pudding, amazing!!! Bottle of Ontario Chardonnay at a reasonable price. A very good welcome and service!

This restaurant has the idea it is gourmet it isn't! Someone should tell them that gnocchi does not go with green Thai curry sauce. The food is passable but nothing special. They wouldn't swsp mash potato for fries even though they sold fries separately! The service is slow and our server was rude and indifferent. She had no idea how to give good service.

We were looking to eat an early dinner after spending the afternoon in Tadoussac. We chose Cafe Boheme and it was the top rated restaurant in Tadoussac. We sat outside on the small terrace and received very smiley service from our delightful waitress. We ordered Sea food risotto and Monkfish. The risotto was very well endowed with scallops, prawns, lobster meat, squid and mussels. The monkfish was served on a bed of haricot beans with a pork croquette and a citrus sour cream sauce. Both meals were as easy on the eye as they were appreciated on the palate. My only reservation is I felt there could have been rather more fish - it was cooked perfectly but the portion size was rather small. We ended with desserts - tiramisu and chômeur. These were great as well. We felt that the meal represented good value for money considering the quality of the food. It was a good job we arrived early as the restaurant filled quickly.

Came here for lunch (ate from the breakfast menu as that sounded amazing). The food was delicious and portion sizes were big. They also had lots of vegetarian options. I would say the service was what let them down. It took 20 mins for our order to be taken and then 50 mins for our food to come out. It was after the lunchtime rush so it shouldn’t take that long. We also waited a long time to pay as the staff member started clearing tables instead of taking our money (she knew we were waiting as she’d already spoken to us). I would understand that if they had a queue of people waiting for the table but there was nobody at that point. Fortunately the food was worth the wait.

This lovely bistro (in the true sense of the word) is a huge draw in Tadoussac with queues into the street at times - and rightly so. We tried to get in on our first night but the queue was just too much. And they didn't take reservations so we tried our luck at an earlier time (just before 6pm) the next night and were in luck. We shared a delicious starter of a mountain of cheeses, meats etc. This was then followed by halibut, which was good though perhaps a little soft as though it had been left in the pan for a few minutes too long. The deserts proved too tempting given that they were on show in a glass fridge close to our table. I sampled a berry cake served with a maple syrup drizzle and was not disappointed. Service was great too, if a little quirky but that all added to the slightly bohemian bistro feel. Our 5-minute stroll back to the hotel needed to be extended to a 30-minute walk just to work off some of the calories! A real winner - do try to make it to this local institution.

A very popular address in Tadoussac, where you can eat well at decent prices for Tadoussac. The menu is varied and a children's menu and a table d'hôte are offered. The only downside is waiting! The restaurant does not take a reservation and it sometimes takes a very long time to have a table!

Very friendly service! Good selection of beer, wine, cocktails and food. The beef carpaccio was perfect. The modules frites was huge and the frites with maple mayo were delicious. The seafood risotto was a bit pricey for the size but there were good chunks of lobster plus several scallops and shrimp, all cooked just right. We also enjoyed the pudding for dessert.

Great food but sloppy service. Best food on the trip so far but not happy with the service. The risotto and tuna dishes were world class but the two tables next to us (who came in after we had placed our order) were served before us an our waitress was no where to be found. I watched the other tables who were well taken care of but had to almost reach out and grab our waitress when she passed by to ask about our order . We had eaten at well recommended restaurants in the Quebec City area but the risotto here was the best I had ever had. Maybe our waitress had an off night but it did not take away the pleasure of eating here but would recommend this establishment to anyone.

A beautiful culinary experience, simplicity and use of local products ... we arrived early and need to be able to ensure a dinner... The cocktails are delicious, the starters are fraying, the main course super good, the dessert delicious .... So yes we ask for more and we regret to have discovered it only the evening before our departure. A little negative, the blonde waitress, ... a coldness in total contrast with the meal. So madam, a smile and a few nice words for the welcome...

Café Bohème in Tadoussac is an absolute gem! The food is simply exquisite, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service is equally impressive – quick, efficient, and incredibly friendly. The staff makes you feel right at home. It’s worth noting that they don’t accept reservations, so it’s best to arrive early to secure a table. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this café is a must-visit.

Ordered osso buco for me, paella for my wife and fish with rice for the junior. The rice on kids menu was dry, hard just like it was done 2 or 3 days ago. We are not the kind of people to ever complain about the food, we rather don't do second visits but this one was abhorring. Service is poor, the waitress was too busy did not dare to ask for salt and pepper, but honestly the osso buco needed more than just salt and pepper. Let me say the food was underwhelming for the price. Sorry to say but it was disappointing.

We were put on the waiting list but were quickly placed. We had homemade maple iced teas (not very interesting, very little sweet) then char and a seafood risotto. And finally a cheesecake. The dishes and desserts were very good. But drinking much less.

Likely the best cuisine in Tadoussac (though we still have places to visit). We went for breakfast and enjoyed the yogurt and granola with a delicious bagel with berry and wintergreen compote. We also had smoked salmon on a bagel with cream cheese and home fried potatoes.
