I am a fan of anything Chinese and Thai and I am so glad my friend introduced me to Nhu Y Tea Tree. Located between a nail salon and a beer making supply shop, one might easily miss this restaurant. But once you step inside, one finds a comfortably-sized crowd here even at night. It can get crowded though during... More

This restaurant is my go to Vietnamese restaurant. The food is always great and the location is central too.

I have been to this restaurant on a few occasions, first to try it out, and then to see if there was something that didn't disappoint me as much as the Vegetarian Pad Thai, which was atrocious: old tasting deep fried tofu and greasy noodles. If I was the owner, I would have been embarrassed to serve customers this dish.... More

Brought mom in law. She enjoyed digging in and trying different dishes. Big menu and place butservice and lean chicken. Coconut soup and pho very tasty. Love the Vietnamese ice coffee with condensed milk.

Right off the bat I will tell you: don't expect your server to lavish you with attention. But some people like to be left alone, and if that's you, then nuff said. Also, the decor is meh. Quickly seated with menus. So many items to choose from. My absolute favourite is the #66 Coconut Red Curry with Tofu and Vegetables.... More

I often go to Nhu Y to eat whenever I feel craving for Vietnamese foods!!! Tonight I ordered my fav noodle special lemongrass spicy beef . I was so disappointed. The broth is very oily and lack flavour . Also There is little of noodles and beef pieces. Foods were good before, but now it's getting worse . I won't... More

As someone from Vancouver, I've definitely had my fair share of Asian food. I love Vietnamese food and let me tell you, this is by far the best place I have ever been to.. I tried the pho (Combination beef) and the broth is very tasty. It's full of flavour and didn't leave me dying for a glass of water... More

Although this place seems to be as popular as before with difficulty getting a seat at lunch time, the food is suffering. The wonton soup lacks flavour in the broth, and generally the quality of the meals is lacking from what it used to be when I first started going here. It;s not a place I'd go to unless it was... We were at Tea Tree for a late lunch today. My mom and I ordered fresh rolls and 2 different noodle bowls. The fresh rolls were tasty. The noodle bowls were ok. My moms had so many strong onions, the she has to pick out the onions out. My noodle bowl was with pork. The meat was good but the... More

I like their beef noodle soup. In the summer time they have a dessert that's very good, it's got green beans, red beans and something else with coconut milk and ice. I forgot the name of it but ask the server.
