Promoted as an Irish pub and not one thing on the menu that is Irish, a guiness burger is not Irish, they have a few Canadian Irish pub drinks but basicly this is a pub with butter chicken, nachos, burgers, etc. They could make an...effort and have a couple of things on their menu that ar Irish. If one is looking for Irish this is NOT it!!!More

We visited this bar several times during our stay at the Atlas hotel to which it is connected. We found the serving staff friendly and attentive. The menu is good with standard bar foods, wraps, burgers, salads, plus pizza; pizza was surprisingly good for a...bar. Hamburgers are excellent.More

We stayed one night at the Atlas Hotel and really enjoyed our dinner at Knotted Thistle Pub. We arrived around 5:30 pm and were able to take in the Happy Hour prices, which end at 7:00 pm. They have an extensive beer menu, including flights...of beer and we enjoyed a local craft beer on tap. The dry ribs (boneless) to start were excellent. I thought my Cajun Chicken Salad (my main) was one of the best salads I've ever had and my husband enjoyed his fish and chip. Typical bar and food prices (Happy Hour $5.00 for beer). The service was very good, including our server changing the tv channel to show our CFL football team! Recommend if staying at the Atlas Hotel - appears most of the patrons were from outside the hotel, fairly popular place!More

Didn’t know there was such a thing as cod fingers till today and googled them and found you can get them in packages. I think that’s what I got they were overcooked to the point I could hardly eat them. Have to say though that...the fries and coleslaw were okay. For a supposedly Irish Pub the music was very odd. They haven’t updated their web page which still indicates Covid hours, wish we hadn’t phoned to check. 😁More

Nice little pub! The food took forever to come, and when it did, it arrived cold. It tasted fine, but when my food is supposed to be hot, I want it hot! I would return for a drink, but I wouldn't eat here again

Friendly knowledgeable staff that helped with gluten free options on drinks and meals. Staff who took order delivered meal to table and made great suggestions. The appetizer Irish nachos is huge so consider half order but not on menu but was suggested by staff. Is...quite busy so come early.More

Very pratical, as it's located in the Atlas Hotel. The staff is very friendly. We had good bites with Ceasars, which were really good and welcome after a long drive across the country ;)

Thick juicy patty on a soft pretzel like bun ,(only quibble was it needs some pickles). Good service and drinks list, especially the wines, but they should add a Canadian red. Love the fireplaces on a chilly day.

Regina has so many bars and restaurants... but, our favourite spot is the Knotted Thistle in The Atlas Hotel (formerly the Travelodge - South Albert Street). A few years ago, we would occasionally go there with friends after Rider home games; well, it's now an...unbreakable tradition. Whether the Riders win or lose, we know that we'll end our afternoon or evening off well with a visit to the Thistle. The menu has something for everyone and the atmosphere can't be beat. The staff recognize our small group and greet us with genuine enthusiasm when they see us arrive. This place is worth a stop if you're ever in Regina!More

Staff should spend more time doing there job rather than chatting to there buddies and colleagues. Took 15 mins to be served at the bar, seated in front of two staff who were far more interested in playing on there phones and chatting to each...other. When food was finally ordered the portion was a complete rip off for that was charged.More

While in the area we took friends their after looking at TA.. the reviews seemed promising so we said we would give it a go. Hubby and I had fish and chips which were very good (batter was not too thick.. just the way we...like it). Friends had the burger and the corn beef and cabbage which were very tasty. The Guiness tasted much like it is in Ireland (which is rare here in Canada we find). Nice atmosphere.More

We stayed at the Travelodge in Regina so we visited the pub twice while we were there. The local stout was very good and so was the Bangers and Mash that I had to go with it. Very tasty. The second time I had another...stout and the Quesadilla which was wonderful. We also shared some yam fries which were very good.More
