Fish n. Chips were fresh and hot. Fish was a bit tough and dry.Good batter not too thick. Lots of fries. Nicely crisp and seasoned well. Fish could use salt. Really good homemade tartar sauce. Fresh lemon slices. No coleslaw with half order.

We will never go back for a meal. My husband had jumbalaya which was the worst restaurant meal he has ever had. I had the meal with perogies, cabbage rolls and perogies. The cabbage roll had very little rice. It was almost solid meat in...the inside. I told the waitress that his meal was not good and got a coupon for a beer the next time we go there. They took nothing off of the bill.More

This is a great spot for casual dining out and enjoying local craft beer. Bushwakkers are one of yhe few Regina licensed resaurants that produce their own beer in house. They also feature guest craft brews, meads and wines in addition to all the rehular...spirits. The atmospher is lively, but is not a sports bar. The clienele is mostely mature. I was there to attend a presentation given by a local university professor on probability and statistics. Bushwakkers features live music themes 3 nights per week. My favorate are the Monday night Jazz offerings with the pint and wings special. I' ve even had the opportunity to attend craft beer tastings in the basement brewing area. The only thing that could be better is more interesting presentations such as the science series talks. My personal favorite topic is NASA and current space projects with talks like the ones given at JSC or Kenedy Space Centre.More

I had an email interaction with Kelly (their events manager, I think) about a possible paint night there. I received a terse and unfriendly reply letting me know that they do not host paint nights. No questions or discussions, just a "go away" email that...is not addressed. Another member of our group suggested that we not bother approaching them because they have a reputation for beig rude. Our organization holds many other (purely adult) types of gatherings but we will not be having any of them at Bushhwakkers. I hope that they know that they lost money because of their approach.More

One of my favorite brewpubs in the world. Took my wife for her first time and we lucked out doing it on first firken friday. Fish and chips were great as usual and the chocolate milk stout was amazing. Love this place.

Dined at Bushwakers last week. My bison burger was delicious and Caesar salad was good but very small. Every time we can’t think of where to go with friends we choose Bushwakers - it never disappoints- food is always good and the service is good...as well.More

We were there on a mid-week night but there was still a pretty full house. Good sign. Service was good. Nacho platter would have been enough for two! Everything was good except for the Caesar dressing that came with my salad. Wish we would have...visited on one of their live music nights…maybe next time.More

Stopped in during Grey Cup weekend in Regina at the end of November 2022. Despite the very large crowd (and the line forming after we entered), seating was plentiful. We ordered two of the special burger offerings, both of which were excellent: large portions and...tasty! We also tried a variety of their in-house beers, all of which were very good (a style for all preferences). Of particular note, they had called in extra staff to handle the crowds which made all the difference. Service was fast, friendly and professional. All in a great old building with tremendous character. Definitely worth another visit!More

From the minute we walked in the door we had bad service. Started with a waitress barking at us to sit down, to getting a piece of plastic in the WRONG ORDER that we just ate because we were short on time, to the manager...not caring at all and making a joke we were lucky they didn’t charge us more for the foreign object. They then carried on a conversation about sex with a waitress within earshot…..very unprofessional and gross restaurant. Bathrooms stunk and so does the service….STAY AWAY!More

Hi Janice. This certainly does sound like a horrible experience from start to finish and definitely not a typical Bushwakker customer experience. Please email bar manager Grant at bar@bushwakker.com to further discuss your evening and make the necessary corrections.

Funky old building, beer was ok, food was about the same, but extremely salty (may have been the gravy).did not appear to be a great neighborhood. Lots of better places to visit in Regina, Bushwakker was a one and done for us. Merch selection was...limited but that’s ok, no need for a take home memory of this visit.More

This was my first visit to this Regina institution. The food (Wild Boar Burger) was great and the portions were generous. The porter that I had fit the bill. When I’m next in Regina, the Bushwacker will be on my list.

It's to be expected - after all the ups and downs of operating under Covid, things won't be the same for a while, if ever. However... This was our first venture back into dine-in after a year or more of home cooking and take out...and deliveries. Our server was a little "iffy" at first, but then she seemed to hit her stride and things were much better. Their in-house brewed beer was as good as I remembered it, and the food was still very good. It was lunchtime, so nothing fancy, but still well prepared, well presented and very tasty with generous portions. Looking forward to Bushwakker's and everyone else getting back to "normal".More

They have some of the best food in town and it's all made in house. Absolutely delicious! Try the nachos. They also have a pretty wild import selection if you like to try new things.

I believe they do but it has been a while since we were there, so I could be mixing them up with other brew pubs.
