This is great for business meetings, a quick pint, and a casual get-together. Food is always good. Service is usually good, sat in the front window area feels like the people at the next table are too close. There is nothing wrong with it, but...it feels that way to me. Not a problem though.More

Came here for a wedding planning supper with the in laws. The drink special was a boulevardier which I had never heard of but loved being a negroni lover. Fish and chips were good love the atmosphere here. Always a good go to in Saskatoon.

Sooo good! The shrimp skewers were charred broiled deliciousness, the scotch egg was amazing as well and my cocktail was just perfect.

Had the pulled pork sandwich which was savoury and flavorful, it came with yummy fries and a fresh coleslaw on the side. I had the cranberry mojito to drink and it was perfection! Not too sweet or tart, not watered down or too strong, and...completed with hints of fresh mint leaves. Service was excellent and the servers were friendly and very attentive.More

R and R is a down home pub place with very good food. The secret is that the food is all prepared fresh - no frozen rehash. The menu is interesting, unusual and changeable.Normal run of drinks and a very friendly atmosphere. Worth a stop.

Great smoked food. Scotch eggs taquitos and smoked wi g's were all fantastic. Very good service and prices are reasonable.

The choices for draft beer is very good with good regional representation. I had a Rebellion Lentil Cream Ale. Very good. The food was very good. The mushroom bruschetta is really tasty and I had the steak and blue salad. Decent meat and well dressed...salad but a few too many pickled onion and balsamic onion for me. Our server was efficient but not real friendly. I like the vibe.More

Did not enjoy dining experience: lack of taste in food, absence of friendly atmosphere and dirty and sticky feel to pub. I would rather say it is a cheap pub. There are better Irish pubs in the same downtown location with better service and friendly...staff, lively atmosphere and tasty food like O’Shea’s for the same money. Would not recommend.More

We have drinks and dinner at the Rook and Raven about once every six months. It’s consistently great food and service with a welcoming, friendly, cozy ambiance.

A full offering of dishes is provided and based on the description the food sounds really good, howverer ... Appetizers: The wings were ho-hum, rather bland and overcooked. The pork belly was thin not very crispy while the brussel sprouts were burnt on the exterior...and rock hard in the centre. The main: The portion sizes were more than adequate. The steak and blue cheese were buried in a mixed green and pickled vegetable salad. The other meals were quite tasty and the meat was well cooked. The other meals were ok but like the sprouts, the vegetables were not cooked. The service was ok. The prices were reasonable. We treated some friends to an evening meal and we were disappointed with the food although we did have a good visit.More

An okay pub to go to in the downtown Saskatoon. Not the greatest and bad food. Below its money-for-value competitors. Used to be popular, but with new restaurants and pubs opening nearby definitely not worth the visit.

Came here to celebrate a friends 15th anniversary. Good selection of craft beers. Had the pork belly and perogies. Pork was fantastic! Would have prefered the perogies to be boiled not deep fried but that is a minor quibble. Waitress was great overall a very...pleasant eveningMore

Very good service and nice ambiance. The server was very quick to offer samples of the craft beer they had on tap. I feel that they have a good selection. I went with the Pork belly with pierogies ,while my spouse went with the beef...bourgonoun. The beef dish was alittle short on beef and salty, the pork belly also was very salty. May come back for a beer but definitely not dinner.More

Stopped in for drinks and appies, and definitely recommend the olives and beet and goat cheese arrancini! The plates are small for sharing though so be aware when ordering.
