I ordered the halibut tacos and corn chowder that was a lunch special last week. It was awful. No taste to the fish, and the halibut was less than a 3rd of the size of the taco. No crema or any sauce of any kind....basically just a tiny piece of fish in a tiny tortilla with some cabbage. The soup had zero flavor and no corn was found....More

My sister always likes to come here so me and my girlfriend thought we would try it out. They have nice love edge tables but between each board is full of old food and crumbs jammed in its gross.

I am very sad to post this as Burt Toast was a place I frequently at least once a week for lunch. Today's lunch special was the halibut taco. It was $18. Let's just say that the meal was NOT worth $18. The halibut was...about 1/3 the size of the taco. There was no radish or cilantro as advertised. The cabbage "slaw" was simply chunks of cabbage. The crema was minimal to the point that the taco was actually dry. When I left feedback on the Facebook page it was immediately deleted. It was feedback...not a bashing. Apparently they do not want client feedback. Burnt Toast is on my DO NOT GO list now. I will find other places to shop local to buy my lunches.More

I was really looking forward to the Halibut Taco lunch special. Co-workers and I decided to make it a team lunch and we ordered 3. I chose mine with the soup special, Them with Fries. I must say that this did not live up to...the food quality and portion I was expecting from the Burnt Toast. The Halibut piece I had did not even fill 1/3 if the small taco, the slaw was nothing more than just cut cabbage. The cilantro cream was non-existent. Times this by 3...we all had the same in our to go containers...not a 1 off, all the same. The only good part was the soup of the day...that being said, a turkey Barley soup is not complicated to do either and doesn't require a lot of skills. At 18$ for this meal....no drinks....this was overpriced and sub par quality.....big let down and takes Burnt toast off my list.More

Wow!!! You could barely see the halibut in the taco or the cilantro creama. One piece per taco - about 1.5” long. Does not look like picture - missing radish and cilantro. Looking forward to it but super disappointed!!!

Wish I could just comment on the food, which is great, but it’s amazing to me that the same terrible server made each of my three visits so bad. She is rude and impatient, without fail. And what’s worse: everyone in Whitehorse knows how bad...she is. How could a restaurant with this reputation not do anything about it? I thought it was just a fluke but after asking around the consensus is to expect rude service here. I have friends who have gone as far as to say they won’t eat there anymore. Disappointing...More

Quick healthy menu selections including gluten free. Soup sandwich burgers etc. Great friendly service too. Won’t be disappointed.

I was looking forward to eating at the burst toast cafe due to its positive reviews but unfortunately my girlfriend and I had a terrible experience. I couldn't find anything good about the experience besides the atmosphere of the restaurant. To put it simple, I...ordered the cowboy scramble and the entirety of the disg was flavorless and there was no amount of salt or hot sauce that could salvage this dish. The eggs were overcooked and the toast was poorly buttered. I'm an extremely optimistic person and it takes alot for me to walk away from food but each bite was a chore and I succumbed to the overall bad experience. And to top it all off we had some of the worst service possible. The waitress was cold and unwelcoming, never asking how the food was and only appeared when it was time to take the order, bring the food, and finally showed up with the bill. I've heard good things about this place, so I'm sure it was a one off experience. But this review is solely intended to bring awareness of what some people still experience at this restaurant.More

Great food but ordered a double espresso macchiato. Got charged for x2 single espresso macchiatos which totalled just under $8. Tried to explain that that isn't quite how it works when you add an extra shot of coffee to a drink, but the waitress was...incredibly grumpy and repeated that 'that's how we charge'. Lovely place otherwise.More

They didn’t when we were there and were proud of that fact. They had a sign saying no WiFi, please talk to one another!

Not sure they take reservations but you can check online or give them a call. We plan to get there when the place opened every morning and were able to get a seat. We noticed that the place filled up very quickly and... More
