Based on TA reviews this restaurant is probably pretty high relative to the competition in Whitehorse. We had a steak and carbonara. Steak couldn't really be cook much better and carbonara was above average, however it wasn't a great quality steak relative to the very high price charged nor was the carbonara exceptional for the price.
The service was polite and efficient but when you're just handed a bottle of beer and a glass, it certainly doesn't elevate the service to anything above average.
Overall, food is good but not value for money.

The pros: staff was very friendly and service was good. Atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant.
Cons: I was surprised to find the fish offered was frozen. I had the prawns and scallops..mistake. Cooked poorly, some pieces were over cooked some under. The sauce was very oily not even like real butter was used and almost flavorless. No lemon to accompany a plate with fish...really? The potatoes served with it were cold and the vegetables lukewarm. It was like they plated the side while waiting for the prawns to finish. Very disappointing, very oily. I left almost haft my plate. My partner had their pizza, it was ok but not wow. I don’t know if it was an off night but left us not wanting to ever return.

We are a group of eight who are visiting from the States to see the Northern Lights and the G&P was recommended to us. We made reservations and they had a table ready for us. The food was excellent as well as the service. I highly recommend the shrimp appetizer with a sweet chili creamy sauce. It was fabulous!

G&P used to be one of the best spots in town...then the new owners who already poorly run the Burnt Toast took over. It has gone downhill every since. Owners (and staff that are trained to do so) have no respect for their customer base. I will never step foot in there again until the owner changes her attitude and stops putting in shrinkflation tactics to their already overpriced food. Atmosphere is not accommodating. Service is terrible (only because of the leadership). Food is average and not worth the cost. Find somewhere else to eat!

We were looking for a Pizza place and could not find one were we were and we asked someone one the sidewalk where to get one and they said across the street at GP Steak House, they are the best. They were right it was very good and we plan to stop there on our way back. The service was good and very clean.

Ordered the take away pizza. Not great at all and very expensive. Greasy and loaded with cheap meat and cheap cheese. Just a slop greasy pie. Some people might like it but I didn't. Too expensive for take out. 2 stars at best

Great visit to a very classy and well located place. Was greeted immediately by the hostess, given my. Choice of seating locations, and as soon as I sat the waiter came by and introduced himself. Provided An abundant menu for beverage choices and food. I chose a locally sourced lager Yukon Gold as my adult beverage. My food choice was seafood Alfredo with Alaska halibut, scallops and prawns. I also selected a dinner Caesar salad, a la carte. Service was quick and friendly. The food was exceptional in preparation and taste. I’d highly recommend that choice again and I’d be happy to go again. Thumbs up.

The staff were terrific; the drinks were well made; but the food was disappointing. My partner did enjoy her ribs but she admit they were a bit dry. The big disappointment was my lasagna. It was more like a boiling soup hidden under a cheezy crust. Given the prices... it was a disappointment.
Given, it could have simply been a bad night... we'll give it another shot at a later date.

We wanted to like this place more because we thought the serving staff were great. The food was fairly lacklustre for the price. It was fine, but that’s all. It wasn’t “oh my god this is soooo good”, which is what we were hoping for. The inside of the restaurant needs to not be all black. It felt like a cave. Maybe it works in the winter time, but not in the summer. Location can’t be beat. It is an easy to go to place with food.

A must go.
Great martinis a good wine selection. For take out I recommend any pizza or their hot Christie, For Dine in, anything they have on special ! Service is great and the owners are top notch!

This restaurant is beautiful, the food great. The manager needs to be more at ease with her job. She has no business in the hospitality business. Our party was pleasant and spent over $800 .. she needs to chill out. Otherwise, a great place.

This place is amazing don't not let the walk up window fool you. This is a nice place to eat. Great decor, awesome bar, and display of food and drinks. The place is dark and elegant. Steaks and Seafood, They serve pizza as well we were all impressed. We were on vacation for Canada and Alaska.

Whenever I get the chance to visit Whitehorse this is my absolute favourite place. The decor is amazing. Menu has so much choice and the drink list is endless.
The staff are knowledgeable, polite and very friendly.
A definite must when in Whitehorse.

Fantastic food, friendly staff. Proprietor Shannon is fabulous, and managed to fit us in for dinner at short notice. Excellent food and Karla makes a mean cocktail too. A wonderful night out!

Be ordering there again all the food I ordered was not on the menu when we went to pick it up. Plus they did not have have the correct number to call us back. To re-order.
