We lived here (Whitehorse) for twenty years ten years ago so we knew to stay clear of the Chinese restaurants. Well my husband landed home with some friend rice from the Casa Loma Restaurant. Certainly not my favorite choice. It... More

Don't let the other reviews scare you-- we stayed one night when all the other hotels in town were full and it was fine. Clean room, friendly staff and good value. Yes, the motel is old but very clean, the beds are comfortable and the restaurant and lounge are... More

We arrived in Whitehorse on motorcycles without reservations and during a summer rainstorm. While dripping all over the nice carpet at the Airport Chalet, the front desk informed us they were booked solid. They were so nice to lend us a phone and phone book, and we called around town until we found Casa Loma had rooms. The exterior of... More

The Casa Loma is a good budget motel. It looks pretty run-down on the outside, but the rooms are nice enough. There appears to be no office, I had to get my room key from the bartender at the bar downstairs. Pros: Free wireless internet, very clean, comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower. Cons: No alarm clock, the... More
