We stopped by here after a day at the Rendezvous Sourdough Festival at about 4pm. We were the only ones in the restaurant and not much food was left and staff were busy cleaning up so I thought that they were closed. But staff said...More

Staff yelling when they have made your latte - it is a very small place so you could hear when it is ready at a far less screaming voice. I do no think the food is that great - the quiche is tasteless and everything...More

This is a European style cafe. They are usually noisy when they are busy. There are plenty of times during the day when it is quiet. I'd advise avoiding the lunch hour (about noon to 1:30) and Tuesdays when we sell coffee drinks for $2....More

Very busy as we visited during Christmas week. Service was excellent, though. Hot chocolates were delicious & hot. The cake we had was freshly baked & tasted delicious as well. The homemade chocolates look yummy. Looking forward to having lunch there, before I leave Whitehorse!...More

The food was delicious and coffee was great. We went a few times while visiting Whitehorse and would go again. As most places in Whitehorse, just know, it isn't the cheapest coffee shop.

Give this a try if you want good coffee, fresh French pastries and delicious home style soups. This little restaurant does get busy, so come a bit early for lunch if you can.

I was visiting family in Whitehorse and popped in to buy a chocolate cake. That is one expensive chocolate cake and it wasn't even that good. Disappointed

So sorry it wasn't to your taste. The chocolate cake is actually one of our signature offerings and we generally get rave reviews. It's intense so one must be a lover of chocolate though.

Chocolate Claim - very impressed with your web site. Even more impressed with your most recent hire. Based on her Revelstoke/Modern Cafe experience, thinking you will be very happy. Go Maggie Go!!

The chocolate cake & coffee is good. The only thing that ruin the experience is the cashier. When asked what type of cake they had, not only did they rolled their eyes, but did not provide the simple answer of chocolate and/or carrot. As a...More

We were in Whitehorse for a week with -25F temperatures, and were on foot (no rental car), so we stopped in many coffee shops in town. Chocolate Claim was our favorite spot and we returned several times; they have good coffee and yummy pastries, and...More
