My wife and I ate here at the end of September. I ordered the Sole cooked in lemon/wine sauce with capers and served over angel hair pasta. The fish dish had no taste ! It needed more lemon in the sauce and it was smothered with capers., yuk. The angel hair pasta needed salt, garlic and the use of good... More

:We arrived at opening time, 17:00, and were seated by a window. The place began to fill rapidly so a reservation would be a good move. Our server was Zack, a very pleasant but business like person who proved to be a talented server, anticipating our needs before we realized they had become needs. I had lobster stuffed ravioli as... Excellent service. Truly wish I could remember our server's name, but he made a very good meal even better. The building is kinda cool and so is the inside.

Had dinner here our first night in Tahoe and we all loved our food. Mine was a fantastic salmon piccata. Everyone of us loved our meal, especially the bread and wine. A good way to end a long day of travel. The service was great and the atmosphere comfortable. Smells were free!

We had dinner here one night and enjoyed our food. One of us had spaghetti with meatballs and really enjoyed it. It was a large portion and the sauce and meatballs were delicious. One of us had the scampi which again was a generous portion. Their garlic bread was the best we've had and we highly recommend it particularly with... More

Let's get right to the point. The food and service were as described above. Heavenly. If there is such a thing as a perfect meal, this was it. It began with the unbelievably delicious lobster ravioli bisque. The Caesar salad and garlic bread that followed kept us pumped up and anxiously awaiting our entrees. Not only were we euphoric over... More

Trying not be harsh about this place, they definitely deserve a try(and probably a 3 1/2 rating) but I'm a tough reviewer of Italian restaurants because I am such a fan (and maybe a bit of a snob?) of the cuisine. Scusa would be a reliable local place but not an outstanding restaurant. Our party sampled four Italian standbys (spaghetti... More

We selected Scusa's to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We made reservations for 7pm and when arrived were escorted to a dining niche with curtains to be very cozy and private! Our server Jason H. is a professional with his knowledge and recommendations. We selected the cup of garlic soup, very creamy with a hint of garlic not overpowering and the... More
