Interesting menu offering more than the standard tourist oriented fare, beautifully fresh, perfectly cooked, excellent service and a lovely light bright terrace with views over the sea, right outside. Light, fragrant, garlic soup made a delicious tasty start, followed by a fresh as a daisy local blue cheese, anchovy, tomato, olive and rocket salad / chicken with soy, pineapple and... More

This restaurant is a bit unassuming from the street side, but has a wall of windows that look out to sea, where you can sit and watch the tide, seabirds bathing etc and swimmers and jetskiers. Really a premium view. Staff really helpful and friendly, food really good. He started with snails-unusual these days- a huge bowl full came, and... More

Ate at several restaurants in this area but thought this was the best. The decor was bright and attractive, it was so close to the water, the service was delightful and efficient and the food was excellent. Our fresh salads were beautifully presented, as was the rest of the food and all very tasty and well cooked. The house wine... More

We went for lunch, not disappointed. Nice little restaurant, simple but well appointed. Great views overlooking the sea. Warm welcome, drinks served within 5 minutes of arrival. Good menu selection, meats, fish etc. Started with the Prawns in garlic oil, then we shared two mains, the grilled Fresh Tuna and a Seafood selection, mainly Monkfish, Calimari, Mussels, Clams & Prawns.... We expected good fresh fish (which we got!) but the best surprise was a handwritten menu which had exotic choices including a perfect ostrich carpaccio with a pesto sauce. Gorgeous wine, sweet service, nice art work on the walls and a stunning view over the ocean. Do give it a try. And excellent liqueurs 'on the house' after dinner. Hungry... More

Had an enjoyable meal tonight. Octopus to start and fish of the day to follow. Nice bottle or local wine to wash it ll down. A shame that there were not more clients.

The problem with Arrieta is that all the restaurants, with the exception of El Lago, close their kitchens very early, meaning that you need to get a table at around 19:30 at the very latest. Unfortunately sometimes we are just not ready to eat at that time! We had bought a nice bottle of wine from a bodega visit and... More

Enjoyed our visit here. Excellent service. Very busy and popular. Good food. Had fish of the day which was melt in the mouth. A huge fish too beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The wine here was good, we had the house red.

I travel alone and was looking around in arrieta where to eat. After a lot of doubting, I entered this place (instinct?) and I was glad I did so! The service was very friendly. I was offered a nice table beside the window, with amazing view. I ordered fish of the day, which wasn't expensive at all. I was served... More

It's ok place. The paella was too salty so not great. We had salads one prawns and orange and mine was the rocket salad but the olives in there were of poor quality.. So if you want something better quality food wise go somewhere else. Only plus the views from the window..
