Cafe Utopia is the perfect place in Plaka to go and watch the sun go down with a glass of rose in hand. The only downside is the amount of tables. We queued from 5:55 and it opened at 6 - we were number 20 in the queue. I would suggest getting there early if you want to get the best seat in the house!

Bar with a magnificent view of the Paros sunset. The bar opens at 6:00 p.m. and quickly runs out of space. Possibility of having a drink and snacking on some snack-type dishes (assortments of olives, brushettas, bagels, fruit platters, etc.). The prices are very reasonable for the place (eg: €14 for signature cocktails; €10 for classic cocktails; €8 for non-alcoholic cocktails).

People crowd this place at sunset. May we suggest you wait two hours until the sun seekers have rushed off to find their stiffardos. This becomes a lovely open air music cafe with the best of jazz playing over a superb sound system. Coffee is excellent as of course are alll the other drinks. Staff at sunset are overrun and stressed, when the music starts they are as cool as the jazz.

Very rude owner. Went there at 17:00 to sit and order drinks and nobody came to serve us. We then went to ask for a drink and the owner was very rude and told us that they do not serve because her employees were late. We then asked her if we could have a slice of lemon and pay for it (i have got bitten by a bee) and she said very angrily no i cannot help you. Do not recommend. We ended up to a neighboring cafe and they were really friendly and helpful. You can enjoy the view from everywhere around in Plaka so no need to go there!

I don't often write Cretan but the service was so unacceptable that I thought I should. We went to this shop for sunset and indeed quite an hour before (19:00) to find a good place for sunset. When we arrived the first row was full and the second vacation. We sat in the second row so as we waited to order we noticed that right in front of us empty a table for two people (two of us) we asked the waiter to move ahead and he just replied that we should sit where we sat and no transfers are made (not to mention that neither reserved was the table because a couple came after and sat normally nor had we ordered to create a problem in the organization of the waiters). It wasn't long and there came a couple (2 people) who wanted to sit at a table in the first row and they (the table for two people small but had 3 chairs). The waiter tells them that they can't sit because it's for 4 people (3 people with the weight of the bag) and when the man offered to pay for 4 people they told him they can't sit and of course they left. All the responses were in a sharp way that makes customers feel uncomfortable (all of them do us a favor to talk to us). Watch out for the service kids is a pity because otherwise it is nice shop.

We went there and experienced a massive queue to enter the terrace. We were all very neatly seated and after some (too long) time the drinks were ordered. We wanted to have some snacks too and ordered the snacks too. We were told that the snack would take up to 30-45 minutes? The snacks we no complicated dishes though. The drinks were served and we waited for the snacks to arrive. After 1 hour of waiting, 1 of the snacks had arrived the salmon, while the sun had gone down already. Therefore the whole concept is a complete failure. Far overrated.

The sunset really is worth the hype. If you don't fancy walking all the way to the top of the hill with the church (...like me), I recommend enjoying the view from Utopia with a cocktail in hand. We arrived quite close to the sunsetting, and all outdoor tables were taken. However we were put on a waiting list inside and was outside in about 20-30mins. I would suggest arriving early if you can to avoid missing out on the full experience!

The pool man at our hotel told us about this place for great sunset views. We got there about an hour before sunset to a small queue and no outside seating. We got offered a spot inside - still with a view - and a promise to move us outside when a spot because available. This promise was fulfilled after only a short wait. We had the best mocktails ever here and beautiful food - I had smoked trout salad and my friend had ham salad. Service was phenomenal and prices very reasonable. I cannot rate this venue any higher. Oh and the sunset was amazing too!!

A must-visit place in Milos, you can enjoy the sunset from there and the amazing view of the sea. A top quality cafe-bar. Get there early, at 6.30 pm, to find a table, or you will have to wait for a long time. They open at 6 pm.

If you are in Milos you cannot miss having an aperitif at Utopia. A terrace overlooking a wonderful panorama. I recommend going no later than 6.30pm to make sure you get a seat. The staff is kind. There is no minimum spending. You pay for what you consume. We had a great time and the prices are humane.
Go there without asking too many questions.

The best option if someone has never met caragyoses nearby. Handy service. No one deserves such behavior for a spectacle there are much better shops. We come in with my boyfriend and we sit at a table in the second row and a couple of minutes later the couple who was cleaning up in front of us and we ask the waiter to move since we had not ordered yet and there would be no disturbance (not to mention that it was not the peak hour, nor was the table held). The waiter refused us with terrible rudeness as if we asked to sit on his back. A similar incident occurred with a couple a little later next to us who from the rude rose up and left. Then the waiters stopped laughing and saying no trouble. Don't visit it!

Great view and drinks! The decor inside and the music is fantastic! Of course, as soon as it opens it becomes a disaster because everyone wants to catch the sunset and it has mainly foreign tourists whenever it loses a little of its authentic character. High prices on cocktails 14 euros+

Recommended online as a great place to watch Milos sunsets, this spot didn't disappoint. We got there well ahead of sunset and scored a front row table. While its emphasis is on wines and cocktails, by selecting from their nice selection of white wines and coupling it with several delicious appetizers, we were able to have a lovely dinner. Over the next hour, the remaining tables and chairs filled, and the sunset was spectacular! There are several great spots in the Plaka area for sunset watching but none of them serve food or drink. Utopia Cafe is a must-do!
