Small nice place with real domestic Canarian food. Tortillas are filling and tasty, meats are rather stew-like. House wines average. Good prices. Parking on the street up from the bar available. Worth visiting when hungry:)

Staying in El Sauzal and have been here twice so far. Excellent, good value food, generous portions and reasonable prices. Service is friendly and both times the restaurant has been busy. The house salad is excellent as are the cod on sweet potato, steak cooked in coca-cola and the tortilla. If you can't eat it all they will pack it... More

For food this place is 5 star, we ordered lots of different things and it was lovely. Unfortunately the seating was a hard wooden stool and when you get a bit full you like to sit back and relax, which you couldn't do here! Everything other than the seating was perfect though. Arrive early as it gets very busy

Dined here a few times now and my boyfriend is Canarian and it's one of his favourites so you know you are on to a winner with this restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious, home made, fresh and most definitely authentic. When you enter the bar you have a seating area for drinks where you can order some cold dishes... More

Our trip go to this restaurant was based on the trip advisor reviews. We arrived at the restaurant just before opening time at 7pm to find a queue! We did however get a table for 3 and the restaurant quickly filled up. There was only one older gentleman taking orders( I presume the owner) so service was a little slow,... More

We went for dinner in this amazing restaurant, so pleased we arrived early as it got very busy. We ordered loads of starters and enjoyed them all. The only downside was there are only low stools to sit on but the food and ambience was fantastic. Would definitely go back ........

We were recommended to visit Carambola by the owners of our holiday accommodation, Jean & Alan, some years ago and we have been back at least 5 times each holiday. It is that good, family run and welcoming. Traditional Tenerifian food and also fabulous specialities. Please try pappas Carambolas also ensalada de casa. We will be there again in approx.... More

This is a tapas restaurant, which serves excellent food & lots of it, lovely white white, it seems to be up a hill in the middle of a small village, we visited with some Spanish friends of ours, we would never have found it on our own
