Love this place and back again. Friendly, quirky, reasonably priced, great location and excellent food and service. Definitely a favourite of ours and will continue to return.

Very small inside - c 9 seats plus 4 /5 outside, seems very popular, especially for take aways. Not the run of the mill eatery, and specials change daily. Worth a look.

Hector's Shed is a very small, quite cute cafe. We called in at lunchtime for a snack. Reasonable menu with ample choice including breakfasts. We simply had basic cheese on toast and coffee. Meals are prepared... More

We came for coffee, which was excellent, served in a big mug, and we returned for lunch. I loved the menu, and found it very hard to choose, finally enjoying the pear and stilton welsh rarebit. My friend rated highly her chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich. The people were very friendly, and the service good. The only negative thing I... More

I love hectors shed! I regularly take friends who also love it! The coffee is by far the best in Shoreham and the food is the best with great specials, of which Neil's homemade soup and the mackerel pate being my favourites and the cakes are awesome! The vegan chocolate cake is sublime and I ain't no vegan! The cosy... More

It's a nice looking cafe but it feels a bit dirty. There seems to be a layer of grease and dust over the whole place and though it wasn't busy when we visited, the tables that had been vacated weren't cleared and cleaned. My coffee cup also looked like it hadn't been washed properly so I stopped drinking which was... More

Such a sweet little cafe. Lovely coffee and the walnut bread toasted and served with chunky marmalade is delicious. I just love the decor and furnishings and the retro cosy touches. My fave cafe in Shoreham.
