Quality and family tradition since 1930. Since 1930 the Sole family have been the Esterri d'Aneu village bakers. Now the bread oven is being run by the third generation, master baker grandson, and the business is very different from what it was originally. Now they bake a wide range of artisan breads, from baguettes to the special breads for every occasion.As a logical continuation of the original bakery, in 1996 an outlet for the bakery products was opened alongside the bread oven. Initially aimed at locals and particularly visiting tourists during the summer months, the results were such that, after extensive renovations and enlargements, the present day "Granja l'Aneuenca" cafeteria was opened full time in the summer 2001. Open every day morning and afternoon (except Sunday, only in the morning), we serve all our own bakery produce, bread of all types, cakes and pastry according to the season and the special dates. As first non-smoking establishment in Esterri d'Aneu, the "l'Aneuenca" is renowned for its quality service, extensive offering of teas and coffee, sandwiches and cakes.
