A lovely drive in the country, Unfortunately the flower gardens were past their prime in the hot and dry summer otherwise they would have been glorious. A few sheep were around and the view is great We were a bit disappointed in the Sunday buffet...dinner; lettuce leaves with finely diced Mediterranean salad. A good cheese board with some melon slices. There were crispy baked chicken legs, roast beef and roast lamb. The roasts, especially were underdone and for those who like very, very rare, the lamb and beef would have been to their liking but for those who did not it was a disappointment; the beef, a little tough and the gravy was lumpy and had skin on top. No attention to detail. The desserts: cheese cake, profiteroles and saskatoon berry pie were very good, but obviously not made on the premises. There are some special events featuring. barbecues , African fare, Celtic nights and so on, the website has it all. Although the food was average, the gift shop was superb with a large collection of woolen items from sheepskin rugs to dresses, an eclectic collection and was worth visiting to buy some items. Best to arrive just before 12 noon when the roasts are fresh from the ovens.More

We stopped here on a road trip from Calgary, for afternoon lunch/tea. The sheep farm and flowers are beautiful. We ate a delicious lunch sitting looking out a huge window looking at the sheep grazing. The lamb stew, shepherds pie, and pulled pork sandwich were...delicious but the scones and cream were to die for! There is a beautiful gift shop with unique gifts. What a beautiful way to spend lunch!More

A wee gem outside of Carstairs! A lovely mountain view from the dining room of deck while you enjoy delicious food. Worth the afternoon drive for fresh scones, homemade jam and clotted cream. The best!

Yesterday was our umpteenth visit to PaSu Farms. It's one of our favourite places to visit and support in central Alberta. The food is locally sourced where possible, delicious and unique. The farm, to us, is a peaceful oasis for city folks! There is a...lovely, reasonably priced gift shop if you are interested - lots of locally made products and unique items. It's quirky, quaint and to our mind one of a kind. Covid-19 has impacted so many local special spots in our province - we hope this little gem continues. Thanks!More

Borderline average rating! About a 1 hour drive north of Calgary into rolling hills and tremendous views. This was our second visit in a couple of years, first visit was a 5 rating, second visit was lacking. Advertised as traditional Celtic Feast fit for St....Patrick, I feel for St. Patrick. The food quality was subpar. The Mussel Stew was actually 3 breaded mussels, the Lamb Stew was missing Lamb, and the Beef was minimal and average. At $115 per couple, I expected a quality meal! The room is dated and could use a good cleaning and update.More

We love lamb in all its variations, and we had long wanted to attend PaSu Farm's Saturday night BBQ. (We've visited the farm before, had a yummy buffet, and found all kinds of treasures at the farm's gift shop...do not miss the sheepskin and woolen...itms at the shop!!) Well, the Sat. BBQ exceeded our expectations in every respect! Absolutely scrumptious BBQ included lamb ribs, steak, chicken, and superb lamb sausage, as well as all the veggie and salad trimmings. The dessert was delectable fresh local fruit with a South African plaited pastry: delectable! We highly recommend spending a glorious evening enjoying this feast for the tastebuds (and meeting the charming owners...and Peaches the cockatoo@). So deserving of accalim for delicious dining using local ingredients and perfect ambience!More

I had always wondered, what the heck is PaSu Farms. Earlier this month I went and discovered what it was. It's not their prime season, but that's ok. They have a great little shop with all kinds of products, clothing, lotions, blankets etc. The main...reason we went was for Lunch though. Although it wasn't busy, they do appreciate reservations just to help with prep I think. The menu was great, the food was amazing. The restaurant has a nice view of the farmland to mountains. The owners are fantastic people who will spend time to visit with you. I am definitely going to visit them again next time I am in the area.More

We’ve been to PaSu a few times this year, and have been quite pleased each time. There’s an exquisite little boutique with sheepskin products, a nice clothing selection, and some rather unique gift items. We attended their seafood night a while ago, and it was...fantastic! Dinner started with oysters on the half shell, which were a real delight, served with what they call their “Sauce Croquet”, and the mussels tasted fresh and delicious. The lobster bisque reminded us of some of the better restaurants we used to frequent in Houston, Texas. The salmon was magnificent. There were eight courses altogether, which was a surprising amount of food, more than we’re used to receiving for the price. We came back recently for the Victorian Christmas dinner and again were not disappointed. Again, a very generous array of high-quality food priced quite moderately. The sole mornay and apple stilton soup were standouts for us, and we both chose the roast leg of lamb as our entrée, which was quite good. There was even a plum pudding flamed before our eyes, and we appreciated the glass of port included at the end. The restaurant is clean and tidy, the staff are attentive, and the view at lunch is beautiful. The dining area is spacious and relatively quiet. However, the décor is definitely not ultra-modern. It’s more country farmhouse. So, if you’re looking to impress those très chic friends flying in from New York, this might not be the place. For everyone else, it’s well worth the drive.More

We visited Pasu for their Victorian dinner. It was our 15th consecutive year going and it is great. From the popcorn with truffle oil to the pate to the Dover sole to the apple Stilton soup to the roast beef with Yorkshire pudding to the...dessert to the chess plate, it was all terrific. Pat and Sue put their heart and soul into every dish. It is a wonderful evening. Excellent value for what you receive.More

Took my sisters here for my birthday lunch a few months ago. We were early for our reservation so spent time in the store. Nice selection of women’s clothing. That was all that was good. The brunch buffet was not good. For $34.50 per person...we were expecting a fairly nice buffet. The salad table had Greek salad that was at least three days old by the looks of the cucumbers. There was a lettuce salad and some cheese slices. Not a lot of selection. On the hot side there were baby carrots from a bag, frozen peas and corn, roasted potatoes, beef and lamb. The fellow carving the meat was very thrifty with his portions. Desert was so so. We have all said, we would go back to shop but will not eat there again. The buffet was not worth half of what they charged.More

We have dined there about 3 times and found the food to be good, however a little pricey. Here's my beef: TERRIBLE SERVICE. I'm very disappointed and offended!!!!! I had seen a pair of beautiful sheep lined gloves in their store last year but unfortunately...didn't purchase them at the time. Later I went online but couldn't find them on their site. I called and spoke to owner Sue and she said they didn't have them yet but would call me when they got them in. Rather than taking my number she told me to call back and leave a voicemail message with my name and number. Months went by and no reply. I called again on September 24th, spoke to Sue again and she took my number and said she would call me back in 20 minutes. This is now Oct 3rd and I have not heard from her. This lady is a phony! She is so nice and full of promises in person and on the phone but she doesn't follow through. I met Sue in person when I brought 3 pure wool blankets to her. They were family owned blankets that I no longer had room for and I reached out to her given they're involvement and love for wool. Sue loved the blankets and even took my picture with them and said they would feature them in an upcoming newsletter. She offered this to me, it was not something that I expected or asked for, all I wanted was a good home for my blankets with someone who would appreciate them....so my question is, why put on this big deal for nothing. When I phone about the gloves Sue recognized me and made a promise to get back to me. I'm very disappointed to be treated so rudely and in hind site wish I hadn't given her my blankets because she is obviously not the person she claims to be. I would have liked to purchase the gloves but obviously they don't need the business so I'll find another source. Word of advise: don't rely on or expect proper service here.More
