I visited with two friends for lunch. The food was great, full of flavour and large portions (my macaroni cheese was the cheesiest ever!) and though there weren’t many others lunching, the atmosphere was friendly and relaxing.

A modern well laid out cafe, excellent cakes and coffee, but the roads are horrendous, I would be wary of taking anything low along them, the pot holes could swallow a small car and certainly remove your spoiler! Shame as it spoils the experience.

Coach House, Laurencekirk, AB30 1QX, as your are heading south on the A90 pass the signposts for Laurencekirk and continue for approx 1mile and you turn off to the left and again it is about 1 mile from the main road.
