Popped in today for more than cake as we were hungry after a long walk. Had two dishes from the specials board and had good fresh food at sensible prices. We're served by an Italian lady who was charming.

This was a lovely tea shop with a good menu, some delicious home made cakes and a pretty courtyard if the weather is good enough to sit outside.

Stopped off to have breakfast. The service was speedy, which was good as our dogs were keen to get on the beach at Weston. The food was cooked well and hot any the guy that served us very cheerful. Would defiantly go again.

Hi, this is more of a tea room, than a restaurant, but they do accommodate veggie options, such as cheese toasties etc...I dont think they do Sunday lunches...sorry

Our small, family run business is set in an original 15th Century Almshouse which is full of character and atmosphere. It is a relaxing place to enjoy everything from a simple cuppa to breakfast, through lunch to afternoon tea. During fair weather our secluded courtyard garden is a must see and now with seating available in The Square it is a wonderful spot to watch the world go by. The small town of Axbridge is found at the foot of The Mendip Hills at the edge of the Somerset Levels. It is just two miles from the much better known village of Cheddar with it's famous Gorge, cheese and caves. Axbridge is particularly popular with walkers & cyclists as The Strawberry Line runs through it's Medieval Square and we are dog and child friendly. We hope to see you soon.
