Staying in the local area and decided to grab a takeaway. Oh my word, it was so delicious. Definitely worth checking out. I had Malaysian Chicken Curry w. chicken which was really good. My husband had a couple of veggie dishes - again superlative! Treat yourself. You kind of worry when there's little to choose from in an area but... More

We’ve eaten in here & had take away’s several times. The food has always been great quality and excellent value for money. Highly recommend eating in as the restaurant itself is a nice building with good atmosphere. The food is always freshly prepared and cooked, so occasionally you may wait a little but rather that than speedily served ordinary food.... More

First time I've visited this place as I've been driving past it for years. A very pleasant experience. Food more than acceptable. Nothing really wowed me about it, but there again I had nothing to complain about either. Maybe there's a page too many items on the menu and the Chinese/Malaysian/Thai fusion thing results in confusion but overall pretty good.

Not eaten from here before, but decided to ring ahead as commute down the A21 daily for a takeaway. Food was ready in ten minutes, car park straight off the A21, so very easy. Dishes were still piping hot when I got home (Battle). Food was fresh, crunchy veg, good quality meat, not covered in sugary pre-packed sauce, instead, delicate... More

Order the Fish, it's lovely. We had fish and a curry to share and some rice. The waitresses were very helpful, making sure we didn't over order and helping us choose. The lovely lady owner came by and chatted with us. Overall it was a very good meal and the cream on the cake was when the bill came in... More

For a start, this is a handsome Georgian building. Inside the rooms have high ceilings and enough period features to remind you of past glories. The food is very good too. We had dishes such as prawn toasts, spare ribs, Peking Duck, Sizzling beef and stir-fried noodles. On another occasion we might explore some of the Malaysian dishes that are... More

I, too, fell in love with the building, over 20 years ago. It reminded me of the place of my birth, Penang. Penang became a Crown Colony, with the hindsight of a clerk of the East India Company, during Georgian times. Penang was the mother place of southern Nonya cuisine, whilst Malacca was the birthplace of Eurasian cuisine. The building... More

This is a typical example of cyber bullying. On Monday, Jan 23rd, a person naming himself as Paul ordered a takeaway, to be collected by himself. Please note that the address of this reviewer is 'Hastings', which is half an hour away from Hurst Green on a good traffic day. He ordered Chicken balls, which he was informed was not... More

This was my second visit to this place, the food is over priced, average tasting and the staff are not welcoming. Both times they have missed items off when we order them and then we have to wait for the items to be cook making the rest of the food cold. We then get charged for it even though they... More

Thank you Katherine for your review. I will, of course, investigate whether your review is true or valid. It is surprising that you were charged for a dish you did not get as on your bill all items are detailed and identified. If you had been overcharged, you were given the facility to asked for this error to be rectified.... More
