This is a very charming place with fantastic food. Everyone was thrilled with what they ordered! The short ribs were amazing! If you are in the area, this is a must. Lunch menu looked great too…

So fresh, so delicious....we LOVE coming to Hierbabuena. We always start with one of their fresh salads and some quac and chips. This time we ordered the Enchiladas Zihuatenejo Style....so good, so good. We also had their great margaritas, cold and refreshing. Pedro was our...server...what a great guy. Highly recommend Hierbabuena!!!More

The garden setting was pleasant and the food was tasty, but I didn't enjoy the meal because the portions were modest, the service minimal, the wait interminable, and the bare metal chairs uncomfortable. My arrachera steak, when it finally arrived, was garnished with a few...nicely arranged grilled vegetables and nothing more. I left the restaurant hungry, This is not to say that you won't enjoy the Herbabuena's sparse Mediterranean cuisine--most people do--but take a cushion for the chairs and a flashlight for the dimly lit path to the washrooms.More

Food is over rated and they have a guy there named Marco who is as unfriendly as it gets. Much better places and friendlier people around.

We live in the area, and have been to Hierbabuena dozens of times. It was our favorite restaurant for many years. Unfortunately, it’s not the same. They have dramatically raised their prices, which isn’t a sin in our current climate. What is unforgivable, however, is...how small the portions are compared to what they used to be. The beet salad, for example is at least 2/3 smaller than it was before. There’s less than half the chorizo on the pizza now compared to before….and on and on. The regulars we’ve talked to have noticed, and are going elsewhere. It’s such a shame, because much of the staff has been there for many years, and it’s still a beautiful setting. Very disappointing.More

Hierbabuena is a wonderful dining experience; however, our recent trip back (we have gone every year we come to the region), left us rather disappointed. The salad which i have dreamt about since our first in 2021 has gone down hill and was ¼ of...the size. fava bean soup was ok but ho hum. Pizza was fabulous .More

Without a doubt, Heirbabuena is a wonderful dining experience; however, our recent trip back (we have gone every year we come to the region), left us rather disappointed. The service was amongst the worst we have experienced... We were in a corner and our table...and the one next to us watched whilst half the rest of the restaurant were served drinks, then appetizers and then their main courses - whilst we waited and waited and waited... When our salads arrived they seemed distinctly smaller than last year, but that could be due to failing memory or feeling hangery as a result of the wait time! With so many other extraordinary dining experience in the region we are not sure we will be back....More

Love this spot....the food, the atmosphere, the wonderful service. Tucked in the middle of the gardens is Hierbabuena. Food is sourced as much as possible from items grown on the property. Everything, and I mean everything we were served was mouth watering good. Each time...we were presented with a complimentary amuse bouche....squash blossom and a squash soup. We absolutely fell in love with their guacamole and fresh chips. We loved our meal so much the first time that we came back for another dinner. The service here was amazing. They take pride in making your experience a memorable one. Hierbabuena is our favorite spot to eat when we stay in Todos Santos for our winter holiday.More

This is quite a beautiful restaurant and we would return but be more selective about what we ordered I guess. Half our food, like the pizza, was really good, but the "catch of the day" seemed not so fresh and was not the best. Ordered...an iced tea that tasty salty and did not finish. However, beautiful atmosphere and the other drinks and salads looked amazing. I think just unfortunate half our meal was not so great.More

My wife and I have been to Hierbabuena several times and have always been pleasantly surprised with the quality of the service, food and drinks as well as the pleasant al fresco atmosphere. On our recent visit we had the sea bass and flank steak,...both which were excellent. The steak was tender and juicy and the sea bass was moist and flavorful. The passion fruit margarita was one of the best drinks I have ever had. The only disappointment was the mango cheesecake which was just okay. A much better choice was the coconut caramel flan.More

We can't speak highly enough about Hierbabuena! The entrance to the casual outdoor (covered) eating area is a beautifully appointed garden, where the ingredients for your meals are locally grown. Service is exceptional, and the food is even better than that! There is a reason...this restaurant has so many reviews and a 5-star rating. We had one of the specials, short rib pasta (freshly made papardelle, almost a brown gravy sauce), watermelon salad, fava bean soup, vegan enchiladas (made with fresh veggies, but would ordinarily come with Swiss chard - meat version also available), and banana cheesecake with mango sauce. It was the best meal of our one-week trip to the Todos Santos area.More

Such a beautiful setting of a farm to table surrounded closely by the grounds and delicious craft cocktails! The chard enchiladas were one of my favorite dishes ever! Loved the beet and radish salad as well. Such a relaxing experience!
