Visited recently after an absence of many years and nothing had changed. The food is good but not exceptional and the decor (and particularly the carpet) needs an update. The service was a little lacking. There are much better Indian restaurants in Bromley so not sure we will return in a hurry.

A group us went to the Sunday lunch buffet. We had a drink in the lovely bar before we sat down which was fantastic. A great location. Fantastic decoration and Atmosphere. The stahff were very welcoming and the service throughout was excellent. We started with a mixed starter which was well presented and very filling. We then went onto the... More

I eventually came to Tamasha after so many people recommending . On arriving myself and a friend were welcomed coldly ... I asked about drink and was told abruptly to sit down . Once at table hoped that service would improve .... I cannot stress how disappointed I was tonight .... rude welcoming ... food very poor !!!!! THIS IS... More

Today was a solo visit to what is an Indian Restaurant. NOT a curry house. Just a main course of chicken tikka biryani and saag paneer for me and just as fab as every other meal has been here. A frequent visitor, with now almost a 2hr drive to get here, but it justifies itself with excellent food. Lunchtime was... More

Saturday 25th Feb. Surly service throughout evening. The waiters served across the table interrupting conversation and food consumption, treading on our feet to stretch over our table, asking us to pass dishes and glasses when there was perfect access all around the table. Food was OKish, just average. Coffee was served cold with no apology, returned microwaved, and undrinkable. Way... More

This is a high end Indian restaurant. The food is always very good, the service is excellent and the venue itself is fun to go to. Great test of a restaurant is how well the food translates to the takeaway option and it's just as good as eating in. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Went there for my birthday. There were seven of us on a table for six! We decided to have the feast at £35+ per person. To be honest it was pretty average and we had to ask for more of the main courses as the amount we were given would just about have fed four. But to be fair they... More

We often eat at Tamasha and have never had a bad experience here. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and will always manage to find us a table. Last night was no exception - when 6 of us turned up with no reservation they still managed to seat us on our favourite round table in the window. The food,... More

Wow! Wow! Wow! Worth every penny! Forget your standard Indian curry houses, this place knows how to cook; let the food speak for itself! Silver service environment, I like being tucked in. :3 This place is in a league of it's own in Bromley! A trip to the bathroom is quite an "eye opener", with images from the Karma Sutra... More

Description
Light and airy Tamasha is a corner of Bromley that will be forever India. Ceiling fans swish over the restaurant's rattan chairs and photographic records of the days of the Raj, while the cuisine displays a similar dedication to the regional tastes of the subcontinent. There is live music during the week, with entertainment for the kids on Sundays. The bar is a haven for fans of cricket, with memorabilia that includes Sir Vivian Richards' signed bat.
