Firstly we had a great hike through some beautiful scenery then stopped off here for a warm welcome and really nice sunday lunch, they have an extensive range of real ales and ciders They also provide B&B and have a lovely... The Ancient Briton is within walking distance of Craig-y-Nos Castle. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly. Would reccomend this place.

Arrived an hour before pre booked time - not a problem... pretty good menu choices and can honestly say truly Devine food. The roast beef dinner I had was hands down the best I've ever had. Will definitely be going again despite it being an hours drive from where we live. Enough said.

On entering the pub we were met with the warmth of an open coal fire and the buzz of conversation. Quickly greeted and shown a table by a very... More

We arrived early for our pre-booked table on a Saturday night and the staff were very pleasant, taking us through to our table 15 minutes earlier than we had booked. All our food was delicious, one of the best steak and ale pies I have ever had, you really could taste the ale and the quality of the meat was... More

Clean fresh great selection of beers, felt immediately comfortable. Young waitress great sense of humour and defiantly a great bonus "to front of house" a tip was in order. From ordering to service was very good, presentation perfect, and the taste of the three meals we consumed was first class agreed by all! Will recommend this establishment and will certainly...
