This is a lovely restaurant run by a friendly couple who have got it just right. I went to dinner with friends last week. The menu had meat, fish and vegetarian, I had twice baked cheese soufflé which was light and fluffy, monk fish main which was cooked to perfection and panna cotta with rhubarb was delicious. Forget the new... More

Quite possibly the nicest afternoon tea I've ever had. Sandwiches were very fresh with lovely fillings. Cakes and scones were equally delicious. Excellent value for money too. We have already booked our next two visits & are bringing more friends along.

Selling itself as a Cafe/Bistro but reality serving up dishes that most top end restaurants would struggle to match, food is divine and service is absolutely spot on. The menu is not huge but that is not a criticism as it has no doubt allowed the owners to perfect the food that they do serve. It is the first time... More

Visited this little restraint today, the lovely owners kindly allowed us to have an all day breakfast at 2 in the afternoon, fast service and the food was delicious. There were a few tables set for afternoon tea which looked cute, would really recommend for couples or a nice family meal. Will definitely be visiting again!!

Always good food here but it's just become better. The lamb was delicious as was the pork belly all served by friendly staff. The cheese board was a favourite with the other diners but I was too full to sample it. Perhaps next time. Like the Terminator.........I will be back.

Genuinely beautiful food and lovely service, the mussels were perfect, the chicken and Brie was supreme and the puddings were light and tasty.

took my elderly mother here for a little treat. Owner was very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I ate from the set menu and Mum ate from the a la carte, all food was good quality, delicious and piping hot! I will definitely visit there again.

Have had a couple of breakfasts and lunches here. Always a friendly welcome from the owner who makes you feel at home. Veggie breakfast is highly recommended - big and tasty! Visited in Feb 2017 with husband and 3 teens for lunch and again, very good, proper home cooked meals, nicely presented. We hadn't booked but just got there in... More
