Meals advertised on the door not available and no mash available. The pie however was excellent. Nice to sit out in the sun.

Today was my second visit this week. It is an amazing little find in the outstanding setting of the Shrine grounds. The service was excellent on both occasions, and the staff were friendly , helpful and very polite. The food was excellent, well presented and...high quality. Portions were best described as plentiful and I ended up asking for a bag to take home what I couldn't manage! A very special mention of Marie’s fruit scones. They are to die for, and begging to be tried. You won’t be disappointed!More

Visited the snowdrop trail yesterday and went here for lunch. I had Greek flatbread with hummus which came with lovely side salad and hubby had broccoli and Stilton soup with croutons and bread. The food was beautiful and plenty. Lots of stuff homemade. Friendly staff....Definitely will be going back!More

First visit here and was not disappointed. The young gentleman that served us was very polite. Lots of seating inside and out. Nice variety on the menu with daily specials on the board. We all really enjoyed our lunch. There was a good variety of...cakes on display at sensible prices. I thoroughly recommend Nortons.More

Downhill from here - Visited this cafe with my family, first impressions were quiet courtyard and lovely setting. The staff were really quite rude and lacked customer service skills. Coffee selection very limited with children’s menu offering just the choice of a pizza only. (Saw...this pizza offering which was burnt) there were no eggs! So ordered a bacon sandwich for our 2 year old granddaughter. This was brought out to our table by a very surly member of staff within minutes of placing the order. It was made with cheap white bread and bacon that was so overcooked an adult couldn’t chew it. Won’t be visiting again.More

We always visit Norton's when we re in Walsingham. The surroundings are so pretty and you can sit inside or out.The prices are good for coffee and homemade cakes but my favourite is the real lemonade.I was reliably informed that each batch takes 70 lemons, wow! The...cafe is always clean and tidy and the young staff who work there during the Summer are great. We will be back soon.More

We buy a ‘goat’ and a ‘queen’ pizza whenever we’re around Walsingham. Always enjoyed them. This time, they were beyond disappointing. We understand costs have risen but most of the topping had gone! The two were virtually indistinguishable where previously they’d been quite different and...delicious. You’ve chosen a bad time to let things slip as there is now a second pizza place in Walsingham!More

Called in for a light lunch as staying in Walsingham. Had sausage roll, salad and homemade chutney, wonderful, filing and great value. Local beer on sale as well, rude not to try it. Very good and cheaper than elsewhere in the village.
