Wow what a lovely Thai meal we had!! This is a tiny take away/ small restaurant with owners who really seem to care, about their guests and their menu choices. We couldn’t finish all that we ordered, we tried, it was superb. Will definitely return and also tell all our friends about this special little place!

Krua Thai was highly recommended by our host at The Corner House and it lived up to expectations. We were made very welcome and were helped to select dishes that were not too hot on the spice scale. The food was superb!! Mouth-wateringly aromatic, a feast for the eyes and a delight on the tongue. One of the best meals we have eaten this year.

A little unassuming Thai Resturant and Takeway that is a little Gem. It is small with only 5 tables so if u wish to eat in it is essential to book. They also do a roaring takeaway business and as it is a small family business, you may have to be a little patient if eating in as they deal with takeaway orders and collections. If you are in a hurry the takeaway might be your best option.
If you're happy though to have a leisurely meal in nice surroundings and friendly service with great food; make a booking. We ate in on Tuesday this week and two other diners made another booking for Friday being the last night of their holiday.
If that is not the ultimate recommendation I do not know what is. It was our 3rd meal from their restaurant; the 1st time during covid when they were only doing takeaway. We hope to be back in thus area again soon and we will be booking again!

Having read some of the excellent reviews we tried having dinner here as part of our half term holiday. The restaurant is quite small, but we were here for the quality.
Unfortunately, there was no authentic quality to this Thai restaurant, and it was extremely disappointing when the mixed starters were no better than what you can buy in a supermarket and cook at home. Both the Pad Thai and the Massaman Curry were decidedly average.
If you are used to authentic Thai cuisine, then this place is not for you.

We were unable to get a table, as it is a tiny place and only a few tables. Instead we took a takeaway. It was very expensive and the portions were not good. We ordered Thai fish cakes and there were only 3 small ones in a bag. We also ordered some prawn toast, which was 4 small, stale looking pieces. The main courses were tasty, but it was all very overpriced. For 3 chicken mains, 2 jasmine rice and 2 starters in cost £44, a lot more than what we are used to with our local takeaways. We would normally expect to pay at least £10 less and get larger portions.

Our visit was spur of the moment, and how lucky are we that they had one table left !! The restaurant is only small, but they do takeaways too, so no reason to miss out. The service was impeccable (hard to find these days) and the food was tremendous, extremely fresh and so flavoursome. An excellent meal all round and would highly recommend this little gem

There'll always be mixed reviews about restaurants as we noted with this one, but in keeping with the mostly positive reviews we found this to be a homely little place with friendly people, the service was prompt and the food excellent! The flavours were robust and the spicy items had a nice amount of heat!
There are a few parking spaces outside otherwise a larger car park just along the road. Won't come to this area often, but if we did we'd definitely drop by again.

I ordered a take away and was told 20 mins arrived and it was waiting for me. The 10 mins back home thought the food would need a quick zap. How wrong was I it was still pipping hot. The food was reasonably priced and there was plenty of it for the two of us. The flavours and spices were blended so brilliantly the heat from the spices crept up on you giving a good heat in the gang pa curry which I throughly enjoyed.

A return visit for a lovely meal out. The food was excellent and the staff very attentive. For starters we had the ribs, dumplings and sate; mains were stir fry sweet chilli oil chicken and stir fry pork red curry, all with egg fried rice. The brownie dessert was perfect. Well done and we will return!!

Fantastic front of house and customer service. The food as well was superb. Tempura prawn, chicken satay and pad Thai were all really good and all well priced. Next time I stop over in my camper, I will be back and not ruling out going tomorrow night

Oh my goodness, the food here is excellent!! Flavoursome, delicious and utterly moreish!! Unusually for a Thai restaurant they can prepare most of the dishes as vegan. A great place to sit down and dine but they also offer a take away service.

We were very lucky to get into this place as we only booked a couple of hours prior but I’m so glad we did.
The staff were lovely and welcoming and the food was gorgeous, we had tempura veg, prawn toast, chicken red curry, tofu and cashew with coconut rice.
I would definitely recommend and wish I was local so I could visit more frequently!

We ate here 3 times in our one week stay nearby. All the dishes were superb, beautifully seasoned and freshly prepared. The nice owner runs a very efficient and busy take-out service as well as having dining in. Thoroughly recommended. May have to book.

We never judge based on the odd bad review and am so glad that this is the case.
This is a small restaurant/ takeaway that seats approx 16 people. We turned up at 6 pm. on a Tuesday night, and it was fully booked. They offered us a last-minute table, if we could be out by 7.15, we happily obliged.
The menu is small yet has a good variety to choose from.
We had a mixed starter for 2 people and some prawn crackers, followed by a Thai green duck curry and a stir fried chilli and basil, with a side of pad Thai and chips. We could not finish it all with the decent sized portions. Next time, I would order less for sure.
The food was delicious and well presented. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and the food came quickly. It was reasonably priced, and I absolutely recommend this gem of a find.

Actually used the takeaway option. Food was delicious & well presented & packaged. Order was by telephone & collection was prompt. Service was friendly & professional.
We enjoyed Thai red curry with prawns.
Sea food stir fry & egg fried rice.
Would highly recommend & visit again.
