Very classy and good restaurant ; Food is frefined and nice (although too salty the day we went). Service is fast and efficient. Loved their tagliatelle with lobster

Three of us lunched at the Osteria and it was simply the best meal ( by far ) that we had in Venice. Delightful, quiet surroundings. Unfortunately, the weather did not favour sitting out in the extensive, manicured gardens, but we were comfortable enough in the fresh air but under cover. Helpful, friendly service. We started with crab and scallops... More

Our last meal in Venice and definitely the best. Just along the canal from the better known Cipriani this restaurant was a close second. Service was excellent and the food well cooked and well presented. Not a cheap lunch but worth the money. Our scallops were perfectly cooked and flavoured, a soufflé of cauliflower and telegio was equally good. Risotto... More

We have been going here for more that 10 years. It has grown in that time and we have watched this with interest. The food is superb, the staff very professional and friendly and the location unbeatable.

This is where we had the best meal we had in Italy on this trip. It was just fabulous. The garden setting was beautiful, the service exquisite and the food looked amazing and tasted better. I should stop raving about it but I can’t, so let me tell you about our meal. To start with they provided a complimentary amuse... More

Over the past few years I have eaten at this restaurant four or five times, and after initially discovering it, I always make a point of visiting whenever I am in Venice. I have dined here for lunch twice this week - once with a party of 6, and once with a party of 100 people on a tour of... More

This is what you need for a good lunch after sightseeing. Creative and tasty starters and main courses, some wine, dessert and coffee at the end. All except desserts tasted excellent, the sweets we got were ok, but relatively not so special compared to the rest of the offering. The restaurant has very nice outdoor seeting area.

A beautiful setting-- lovely garden when the weather is warm, cozy with fireplaces lit when it's cold. We count this as a must do when in Venice, after you've done the mandatory sights, as it is a lunch venue with foods from Heaven! This time we had a Parmesan soufflé dish for starters, and the baked sea bream (dish du... More

We have visited Venice, Murano and Burano on several occasions. We decided to try something new this time, which brought us to Osteria Al Ponte del Diavolo on Torcello. We were a party of eight so opted to take a private water taxi for the quick ride to Torcello. Do not let the exterior fool you. Upon first glance, the... More
