My parents took me there as I was visiting from a Canada. We had the "Menu tradition". It was just excellent. The food, the service, everything was perfectly cooked. I can't find a single thing to say improve. Except.... it was too much!

One of most amazing restaurants in the world for food, service, & atmosphere. Not sure how anyone does not rate this 5 stars. Frankly I would rate a 10 out of 5 of hat was possible. Everything I had & at my table was off the charts good. Not cheap but well worth the price. Definitely a destination restaurant. Staff... More

Made reservations the maximum time in advance. It's the height of fine dining, in a pretty setting next to the river about a 15 minute taxi ride north of Lyon. Liked the man who greeted us at the entrance, and afterwards waited with us for the taxi. He also played the musical hurdy gurdy in the restaurant for people celebrating... More

There is no doubt that Bocuse it the grandfather of the cuisine classic and his restaurant a monument to him and his energy . For that we owe him respect and honor. Restaurant Bocuse is an ornate monument, not subtle in the least which stands firmly on his traditional dishes of excellence. Be aware however that his Micheline 3*** are... More

My husband and I enjoyed our lunch which was perfectly prepared and presnted by the very professional and friendly staff. The food is classic French cooking with no gimiics to hide behind. Therefore we were amazed at how perfect everything was. We have travelled the world eating at several Michelin star restaurants and have been very pleased with many of... More

Don't expect the molecular fooding you'll find elsewhere : here you will gave great products, a legendary place, and a great team succeeding in keeping 3 stars for 55 years. Don't expect diversity : colors only for the grooms/parking valets and very few women.

We had diner there and took the menu "Grande Tradition Classique". Everything was perfect, from service to food and wine. It was like being in the family house: the plates were always very full, service was very nice and talkative, we had long chat with about all peeps who work there ;) and even had the chance to visit the... What better way to celebrate a birthday than a gourmet lunch at this doyen of French cuisine. From start to finish the meal was a delight to all the senses. Superb presentation, flavor's & service all set in a beautifully appointed restaurant which oozed old fashioned charm and sophistication. I strongly recommend Rouget barbet with the incredible potato "fish scale"... More
