On a recent drive out of Calgary we visited Rosebud, Alberta for the first time. Lunch time was close and on walking around Main Street we noticed a brand new food truck-trailer across the street from the well known Rosebud Opera House. While talking with...the chef I noticed the state of the art new appliances inside the food trailer and everything was spic and span. As we had 2 dogs with us we decided to eat at Picnic food trailer and sit in the shade nearby. We order a cheese burger and a veggie flatbread along with passion fruit-lemonade drink. Our meal was served to us by the chef a very nice lady who was also the prior chef at a nearby restaurant, our meals were exceptional and as good a burger as I’ve enjoyed anywhere. My wife’s veggie flat bread was a full meal and served piping hot. She did remark that a little less cheese would have made it better for her. As it was a hot day we enjoyed sitting on chairs with a table at our disposal and the dogs were comfortable in the shade. Picnic’s made our short road trip a memorable day. ThanksMore
