We took friend here for a treat and the food was outstanding. The bruschetta was excellent as was the salad. The main courses were also very good though portions were extremely large - which is hardly a problem really. Staff were lovely and we all enjoyed the evening very much. Both bottles of wine were Cretan and very good too!!... More

We had in total 7 different plates. Simple and typical titles but so perfect like you have never had them before. Service was friendly but could be a bit more professional in order to be perfect. Thanks a lot Don Rosario hope see you soon

We have visited this restaurant many many times. It´s not the location, it´s not the service - It´s the food you come here for. Time and a time again. They serve the most delicious italien dishes.

We have been here many times starting 4 years ago. Just now leaving a review :) We have traveled Italy and dined in NYC, this is still my 2nd favorite Italian restaurant. We order Gnocchi Gorganzola and Bucatini Aglio Olio Peperoncino consistently and they are NEVER disappointing. The bruschetta is my #1 favorite as well (complimentary). Served with house wine... This Sicilian restaurant used to be situated in the seaside village of Ravdouha; now it has moved to Suda, still in the Chania area. The menu is the same, the charm of the owner, Don Rosario, has not changed one iota. The courtyard in summer is very shady and pretty. The homegrown tomatoes and basil go straight into your Don... Two couples, four dishes, one awful experience. the food at this place is really terrible. beef was smell bad and had no 'beef' taste. after we turned back the dish and complained about the taste, the owner-chef came to our table with a really bad attitude, yelling without showing any regret to us as costumers. five minutes later he was... This was one of many times that i was there. Usually we order pasta and we are satisfied. This time we order beef fillet (price per plate more than 20euro). So we had some expectations. The beef was not tasty well and it was terribly cooked. We kindly asked to change the one plate of beef. After a while the... More
