The owners were nice enough. Gentle old lovely Cretan man and his wife. But... 65 euro for five of us - three kids, Three bottles of water and two soft drinks... and not enough food? Took the three daughters here - paid 12 euro a head for a couple of very small grilled fish, round fries (not cooked uniformly), oily... More

Small friendly tavern. You choose your fish right in the kitchen. It's always fresh and very tasty. The shrimp omelet with feta was awesome.

The very best of traditional fish tavernas. Beautiful fresh fish, cooked simply in simple surroundings. Service is superb and they really go out of their way to ensure you have a memorable meal.

I have been to Vlahakis Fish Tavern a number of times. Fish is really great and the atmosphere is reminiscence of old 60's and 70's era in Greece. I would highly recommend one of my favorites: the omelette with shrimps and cheese. It is really mouthwatering! The prices are really good and you can eat a lot there. The tavern... More

Arrived with a slight misconception when seeing the roadside location. However the food and atmosphere are amazing there is no need for a menu ask to be fed and you will eat until you cannot eat anymore. To top it off you get a lovely homemade cake and watermelon, all at an incredibly affordable price! Best meal in crete!

Squids were awesome, softly fried in olive oil they melted in our mouths... Grilled fish was good as well. And what about their prawns' omelette ? Best one in Crete ! And the sweets:... More
