We reached out to Dan with little more then 2 weeks notice during a Pandemic to host my daughters Wedding Reception. What can I say, he and his staff pulled out all the stops! As a small intimate group of guests attended Dan made sure...our experience left us with lifelong memories. The food the service and atmosphere was exactly what we all needed during this difficult year. Thank you Dan !More

My family went on Saturday November 14 for a late lunch. I have never been compelled to write a restaurant review before....but the extremely poor quality of the food combined with outrageous prices...leave me wanting to warn innocent people. I was really looking for soup...and sandwich for myself. They were out of French onion and the mushroom/blue cheese option - wasn’t appealing. I settled for chicken fingers and fries ....what came was 3 frozen chicken fingers and double fried fries. For $15. Practically inedible... My daughters Yorkshire stuffed prime rib? Looked like a pile shaved rubber. So fatty. Tasteless and also inedible....$18. The garlic bread with cheese? Was $9! Each of the six pieces? Was the size of a quarter...a slice of a baguette....cut in half. So a full order was 3 tiny slices of a baguette cut in half. The serving plates were gigantic and unnecessary that were brought to the table for the one bite garlic bread. Waitress confirmed that is the order...$9. For 6 bite sized pieces The other 3 orders were much the same. We went home hungry. Had to order pizza ...disappointed that an inedible lunch for 5 people was well over $100. The waitress did take the Yorkshire pudding off the bill. Please do not eat here. Food quality is horrendous and prices are outrageous.More

We had an amazing early Father's Day celebration at Davidson's on June 20th. Dan and his team never fail to make our dining experience feel like coming back home again. The service was amazing, both Sheila and Doreen went out of their way for not...just our table but those around us as well. The food was amazing! We ordered many appetizers (crab cakes, garlic shrimp, escargot) that were all to die for. The schnitzel was incredible. The food alone has brought us back time and time again but the people who bring the place to life is the main reason for our return. Growing up at the point, Dan and his whole team have been apart of my life for a long time. You will not find a team that is as kind, dedicated and perserving as the people at Davidson's. Even through a global pandemic, they are coming out strong!More

We went for Valentines day dinner. we had the striploin from the Valentines Day menu. It was excellent, as was the service and the quaint country atmosphere. i was especially happy when my wife said it was way better than the local popular steakhouse franchise....very nice, relaxed atmosphere and great service. We have wanted to go for a long time and we will definitely return soon. Call ahead for special meal requirements.More

Went for an early dinner, (so we were using lunch menu) I had the meatloaf w/fries & gravy (gravy was great!) and hubby had the piled high smoked meat on rye with fries & gravy. Both were very good, taste of home came through. Very...enjoyable, finished off with a slice of their home made Pecan Pie...wow! My only comment is that the meal and coffee were not served hot and when I mentioned that to the server she bent over backwards to correct that. We want to return again in the warmer weather and their full dinner menu...recommend a reservation at that time.More

Everything was excellent! My 92 year old mother wanted to treat our small family to bruch between Christmas and New Year's. She chose Davidson's because of the quaint atmosphere and the lovely staff. We were not disappointed. The Christmas decorations were beautiful, the food was...delicious and the service was outstanding! Thank you, Davidson's!!!More

It’s not often you find a restaurant that hasn’t been touch with today’s minimalism interior design and nouveau cuisine. Davidson’s restaurant is sure to please anyone who appreciates a owner operate restaurant, the atmosphere is authentically cozy and the food is absolute delicious.

This was my third time dining here, love the atmosphere, the restaurant is so eclectic. Food is very good, servers are friendly and accommodating and I would highly recommend it... especially when Tom Kovacs is entertaining!

Made reservations and arrived on time restaurant was at best half full one old waitress on staff who could not handle th couple of tables she had it took 2o minutes before she even came over to us (this should have been a sign to...leave) Was very abrupt and rude, took our drink order but was more concerned if it was one bill "or what" ordered dinner easy enough as we had the same, 4 orders came out all different, no such thing as medium rare all were beyond well done roast beef, potatoes were wrong, forgot yorkshire pudding and all of the food was smothered in this dark almost black sludge, she called it gravey. one order was to have no graveysludge. our wine came half way through our meal She made no offer to exchange the over cooked roast for medium rare as was ordered but explained "if you want medium rare you should have come earlier" WHAT!!!! maybe when we ordered she should have told us then there was only over cooked left and we would have ordered something else. She sent the "chef" over to us wow, hea was going to make us a special desert to make up for it.....sorry didn't not want desert we wanted the meal cooked the way we wanted it. he then started to clear our table and told us to get out calling us names!! He did no even want to hear my wife tell him she almost choked on a blue elastic that was wrapped around a carrot she ate....couldn't see it fr the graveysludge. Needless to say we all left after paying for the wine we got to drink half of. This is the worst restaurant i have ever been to we are 50 to 65 years of age. The owner should hire a cook, more experienced and polite waitresses or close. However i feel once the health department show up as per my request he may be closed down sooner. DONT GO HEREMore

Visited it with family from England. Shabby interior. Meals disappointing. Would not go there again.
