One of THE BEST dining experiences in Adelaide. One on one dining with your very own chef, cooking on a hot plate in front of you, the most freshest and delicious South Australian produce, exquisitely plated and flavours that just burst off the plate.

I have been to this pub several times over the years, but this meal was disappointing. My scotch fillet steak was overcooked and chewy although the chips were nice and crunchy. My friend had the Pasta of the Day from the Specials Board. It was a creamy sauce with ham, mushrooms etc. She was disgusted by the so called ham.... More

Attended for Lunch which was served to a large group, hot and tasty. Desserts were delicious with sufficient to ensure all were satisfied. Drinks were cold as required. Very pleasant.

Hadn't been to the Hood for years, so we tried it on Australia Day. Pleasant sitting out in the courtyard. Food plentiful - we had salad, pizza and calamari to share between 3 of us. Ample and delicious servings, very pleasant indeed. Music became a bit loud as the afternoon progressed, but no real issue. Service friendly and efficient. A... More

We had the salt water Barramundi - one battered one grilled with garden salad and chips. It was a good serve of fish, well cooked, the salad had a good mix, quantity and a tasty dressing and the chips were crisp. The service was quick and friend and efficient. The menu not overly extensive but had enough choices to satisfy.... More

Great place just to meet friends for a drink, relaxing in the courtyard area, with a nice breeze on a warm day. As in the bar area very stuffy and warm, no air circulation.

Everything was above average for a bistro pub, prices were reasonable and portions were generous. I had a rare rump special, salad and cheese plate. The steak was cooked correctly, ingredients were of good quality and nicely presented. They have beers in pints and their Pedro Ximenez sherry was great value at $9. NV Mumm was $65 a bottle.

Have come to this place twice now to watch the AFL grand final... and was not disappointed. The food and drinks (incl specials) on offer were great, good atmosphere and good facilities to watch the live game (with sound). Their beef burger is amazing and so are the sliders.

Family dinner in the restaurant area but the adjacent bar area was also in full swing. nice fireplace Service a bit hit & miss, with a bit of waiting and some confusion about orders. The food was great, if not slightly quirky (dangling kebabs) but overall a good selection of dishes
