One of my favorite restaurants in Nestor Falls. Donna and Cliff have spent the last 3 years turning "the Log" into a great little restaurant and bar. The food is excellent, menu selection is wonderful, specials are great! Thanks guys for being such a great addition to the area!

Awesome little place the man was so friendly allowed our dogs on the patio and even brought them a bowl of cold water.. drinks were super quick and tastey food was also delicious and very quick!! Perfect stop for lunch for our group!! We will be back!!

Visited this establishment three times on a recent fishing trip in the area. The food was really good and the staff was extremely friendly. The only negative I will take from going there is that they can be a little slow sometimes as there is only one or two people working at any given time. Regardless, it's worth going for a nice meal in a Canadian wilderness atmosphere

I was at this establishment last night and the bar tender has absolutely zerp people skills, the food is very over priced and after spending a ton of money over the weeks I have worked here, cliff the owner and bar tender disputed me over getting 5$ in change for the juke box. I highly recommend staying away from this place.

Located on the main highway thru town, it is conveniently located with enough parking space for larger vehicles. It does have a liquor licence to serve alcoholic beverages.
The food is average, leaning toward quick preparedness (deep fried) Hours are usually consistent, so it can be depended upon to be open.

Came here as a group of 7 people from Sioux Narrows. Everyone was pleased with their meals. Food was delicious, great service, nice restaurant. Prices for draft beer seemed a bit high but it's great to have a restaurant open in fall. Great evening!

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on a beautiful fall day. The beverages were cold, and the food was good and hot! A nice little place in Nestor Falls!

Cute interior, owner is also the chef, fish tacos were delicious, waitress was a hoot, locals frequent and conversations strike up easily.

We are often just travelling through Nestor Falls although it is a pretty little tourist town on Lake of the Woods which probably could be a nice summer destination at one of their lodges. This restaurant offers decent food although limited vegetarian options (I had the fish tacos). I have also stopped for breakfast which was quite good.

This restaurant has gone through a number of name changes and face lifts over the years. This is my first time eating there since the current owners took over.
One of my past problems with this restaurant was the price of the food for what you got. The menu is still simple but I believe the prices are more in line. The food was excellent and there was a good variety to select from.
The best part of this meal was the waitress. She was a beautiful young girl with A+ service. She was always smiling and checked on us numerous times.
Even the cook came out and said hi.
They are definitely doing something right.

Waited to order and seemed like the till was more important and the kitchen conversation in the back was priority over taking orders.
So with the $6.50 draft pricing it was a wash and moved on.
Give it a shot, maybe it was just too busy, Nope that wasn't it.

Looked for a quaint place and this was it. We really like the warm hosts and hostesses. It was the true Canadian experience.
