This restaurant replaced Slowfish as my favourite. I like the Jafas with coffee. It's consistent and my first choice in this bunch of cafes.

We often stop here sometimes for just a drink, often a snack. It has a pleasant indoor/outdoor spread with good value food, plenty f variety and really friendly first class service,

Wow ! I am always amazed that this establishment keeps my reward card from every annual visit. The brunch is amazing and represents such good value. Not surprisingly the business has now extended to include the premises next door. We are always delighted with the food and ambience of this successful seaside cafe and have been clients for 4 years... More

Very good food....excellent service. We enjoyed the chicken salad. Pricy, of course, as many resort restos are, but worth the premium for both the food and the view.

This place is not located in New Zealand but in Australia. It's in the bay of plenty. You can drink a good cup of coffee and also you can eat there. The food is good. The wifi is also good.

Since the restaurant next door to Deckchair closed it has become a busier place. Food is good as well as the coffee. They are known for their muffins which truly are heavenly.

We had breakfast here. The staff were very nice.. The only thing I was disappointed with was our streaky bacon was undercooked.. I did bring this to their attention and the lady was so apologetic offering for us to take some to go or anything we wanted... She also removed the charge of one of the breakfasts.. Top marks for... Not being from the Mt and knowing nothing about the local cafe options we opted to choose "the busy place" based on the fact that busy probably means good. We were a group of 6 and found seating fairly easily with a couple of tables getting moved together. Menus were given but it wasn't made clear whether orders would be... More

Had an early morning brunch here so went for eggs Benny and a coffee. Was good, service excellent and owner really friendly. Great spot to look out over the beach and sea.
