I have been here a couple of times, but not for about 12 months. The space has been reconfigured since my last visit. Looks good. There are some interesting things to buy such as Tasmanian books, local scarves and clothes. Quiet expensive though. It would have more atmosphere if there was some quiet music playing in the background perhaps. Not... More

Considering we had not booked in advance as a group, the service was good, as was the coffee and nice chocolate. To keep us entertained we browsed the art works and other items in the shop and some made purchases. A sunny, clean café was just what we needed as we passed through Triabunna.

I walked into this place with my quiet and we'll behaved 5 year old who is quite used to going to cafes etc. I simply asked the man serving for a take away cappuccino and 2 hot chocolates, with not so much as a grunt he proceeded to fiddle around on his Computerised till, now this went on for no... A nice space with a good feel, an appreciated spot to eat up before a long day on the bike. The food and coffee were totally fine, but nothing to write home about. Probably the best spot in a town that is otherwise a little dreary.

We were drawn to this café by it's reputation for unfriendly service and we were not disappointed. We waited at the counter for a full 5 minutes in full view of 3 staff members and received not so much as a nod to acknowledge our presence. The coffee was OK though and you can use the toilet now if you... More

I arrived after a long journey getting there hoping for good food. The service was not great, I wanted vegetarian food but the man serving seemed either unsure what vegetarian was or was too busy to be bothered. All the while another lady on staff just stood there doing nothing. weird place, I just had a drink and left to... More

Nice cafe got coffee to go - perfect! Quality souvenirs and Tasmanian products, books and artwork. Some clothes and jewelry. Menu looked good and cakes and chocolates tempting.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Freycinet. Had the falafel salad .. Lovely light falafels and a very fresh salad. Coffee and cake great. Yes there is a sign about public can use the public conveniences down the road. Miss communication here as there is a toilet for customers only. Just had to ask for the key.
