Delicious local seafood at this waterfront restaurant. I had their specialty dish: plantains with seafood. Delicious local food in a cozy atmosphere. Service was very efficient and friendly.

Only 4 stars because the boat ride plus food upon return is worthwhile but not cheap. If driving an ideal 4x4 one CAN drive into Bahia de la Aguilas beach. But of course, you’d need to take your own food since there is nothing available...on the beach for purchase. For me the convenience is worth the money. They even accommodated my seafood allergy although everyone else had the delicious goodies! 😋More

Fantastic location and great outdoor space with good food! After a long drive from Santo Domingo, Rancho Tipico delivered just the lunch we were craving. The Rellenos Langostin included tender chunks of lobster on top of a hearty plantain platform. My wife’s seafood spaghetti with...red sauce was equally tasty. Overall, this is the spot for having lunch or dinner when visiting the Eagles beach (Bahia de los Aguilas).More

Very good , tasty and flavory food . Worth the visit and also the restaurant can arrange the speed boat to go bahia de las aguilas for you . I recommend to go to bahia de las aguilas with at least 10 people that way...you'll pay less for the boat . The price for the food is great .and the staff is very friendly .More

Hands down the BEST mofongo ever!!!! I love love love the lobster mofongo. It’s big enough to share with for two people, satisfying, full of flavor and lots of lobster meat. This is located near my mother’s home town of Pedernales and I absolutely love...this restaurant. This is a hidden gem that keeps evolving every year! Now they offer glamping (camping in comfort) at the beach, and short boat rides to the private, inhibited beach “Bahías de las Anguilas”.More

The food is very good, especially fish and seafood. But even the odd 2-3 items which are not from the sea (i.e. chicken, pasta) are good, and good size portions. Prices are decent considering you're in the middle of nowhere. The restaurant is right by...the sea, almost on top of it, which gives you a first class view.More

This place is a simple place. Just a wooden place by the ocean. BUT... the food is very good and at VERY REASONABLE prices... Service is adequate but no the super best. AND... it is probably the best starting point to a trip by boat...to BAHIA DE LAS AGUILAS beach. This beach is spectacular and with the clearest water! It is one of those must-go beach that should be in your bucket list. The Bahia de las Aguilas (which is a full bay) is at the very southwest end of the Dominican Republic and quite far from civilization. It is a place to visit and return to wherever you are sleeping.More
