I can't say enough about the warm hospitality that the owner Doña Charo and her son, Antolin, offered. Their restaurant is located on the same dirt road that takes you to the Cueva (the cave) which is where all the vehicles park and the boats...are located to take you to the Bahia. I think it was the second or third restaurant on the road, so keep driving and you will find it. First I will start with the food. I am a vegetarian and they had the most wonderful vegetable, avocado, salad dish. I also got plantains (tostones). My husband ordered fish with rice/beans/salad. We then had coffee. The food was excellent. We sat outside and ate and there was a nice breeze. Antolin also offers transportation to Bahia de las Aguilas. Our hotel was in Pedernales so he picked us up in his 4×4 truck, drove us about 25 min. to the shore where there was a boat waiting for us that took us to the secluded beach. We let him know how long we wanted to stay and the boat picked us up right on time, brought us back to shore, and our lunch was waiting for us. Then Antolin drove us back to our hotel. We were there with friends after the boat cruise to bahia de las aguilas beach. We were not sure where to go for lunch and we ask Fabio the Manager what he had to offer. From a simple answer I ve already understood the experience...he had and I ve to say I was right! The Octopus and Lambi was delicious, the lionfish was simply the best I never had, see the photo attached, big and very tasty! the ambient was very relaxing and unique. Fabio the manager knows very well how to attend clients and make all of us satisfied! I can only recommend this place, the price as well was very good!!!More
