The restaurant is in the northern entrance of the town. It is well known for serving humus and first dishes. The service is fast and the prices are reasonable. However, I don't think it is highly ranked in terms of cleanliness. I think that there are better restaurants in Abu Gosh, the one owned by Abu Yossuf near the the... More

4 people waiting in the line for a table. Suddenly the man in charge gave the table to 2 other different families that came after us. We waited more 15 min. But after this incident decided to go to another place. There are other very good options with better food and better service and atmosphere.

sitting in the garden is fine, only when it's not too hot. The hummus at Abu Ghosh is the best in town, but the bbq stinks from gazoline. avoid.

We came and ordered ( no more salad selection) from the salads we ordered only the humus was good. The meat was good ( kebab, chicken shishlik and schnitzel) . The Bavaria was parve (non dairy) and the coffee cost money and did not come with free baklava like most places like this. The place was not too clean (... More

Very disappointing on this visit. Meat and salad was good but nothing else was similar to their usual. Cold rice, felaffels and chips. No proper service either. Had to remove superfluous plates ourselves.

In my opinion they serve the best hummus in Israel, but try chicken and other dishes as well - really delicious. Informal, family place, great to rest after visiting Jerusalem.

Indeed something has changed in the resaurant. The quality of the food has deteriorated. The meet came out dry and chewy. Very unacceptable for a restaurant of this spacialty. Salads were ok. The falafel was excellent. Coffee after the meal is on the house. That's nice. Good coffee. Too sweet. Hygiene can be significantly improved. Indeed prices are relatively cheap,... More

Came here for a quick lunch on a a Saturday afternoon. The service was very fast and attentive, it is expensive, though, but worth it. We had hummus, kebabs, falafels and tabuleh salad. The only problem was the tebuleh which wasn't fresh or tasty. Everything else was amazing.

Having eaten at many establishments in Abu Gosh over the years and enjoying the "exotica", the gastric revenge always appeared afterwards. Until finally we tried the Lebanese which was tasty and fun. After many visits, somehow the management let the place slide. The table was not clean, the overall maintenance was unacceptable, windows and glass partitions were dirty and all... More
