We visited the pub for lunch based on a recommendation and I too would also definitely recommend it. The food was fantastic, much more than you would expect from a casual dining venue, really enjoyed our visit. Thanks

Excellent meals at The Cat. Service is outstanding, ambiance is charming, and of course the beer is great. They were very accommodating to us even thiugh fully booked during the holiday period.

On the plus side the premises appeared clean and the chips were good but the dining room felt cold. Sandwiches spread way too thickly with margerine and I hate margarine. Then in error tried to charge us £17.50 per sandwich - ouch!
