my boyfriend and I ate at this restaurant last night and it was honestly the best greek food we have had! We had a filled aubergine which was basically like Moussaka which was just delicious and additionally we had a Shrimp dish which was with...cheese and tomatoes in this mind blowing sauce!!! we also ordered the house white wine which was a nice pair with our food! highly recommended! Also, the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere and a really nice place to dine in.More
The waiter advised me to order the seafood spaghetti or how they call it “Fisherman’s spaghetti” and it was the best decision. The portion was so big and rich (as you can see in the photo). Would definitely reccomend.
Our favourite Greek taverna next to Saint Nikitas beach with Thanassis & his wife offering the best 🎏 in town! 27 years of great hospitality and Greek cuisine knowledge! Breathtaking views to the Ionian sea and everyone who's tasting paradise simply rests and eats all...day long. Quote:"Μένουμε Λευκάδα"!More
Having the best spot in one of the most picturesque and popular villages of Lefkada is yelling for a tourist trap. The moment we stepped in the venue a strange feeling of being trapped in overpriced frozen products paradise overwhelmed us. Yet, the authentic warm...welcome and the personnel smiles spoke otherwise. I've been travelling the Greek islands for almost all my life and I have eaten in very bad tourist trap places which looked good and traditional, just like Portoni, but equally in very authentic restaurants, family ran businesses with a long tradition in seafood selection and cooking techniques. Portoni has proven to belong with the latter. Fresh fish (daily catch) , of course, you can't ask for something less being just in the seafront of a fishing village, amazingly tasty Greek salad with good quality olive oil (most of the times you don't get good quality oils in popular fish taverns in Greece), homemade tzatziki and hand-cut fries. All you need to experience authentic Greek seafood cuisine. The venue is very Greek, atmospheric, personnel is very polite, honest and friendly and prices quite reasonable. Totally recommended for seafood if you are staying around Agios Nikitas area.More
The owner here is awesome, I wanted a selected amount of seafood made into a platter for 1 and he was very willing to put together what I wanted from a selection of fresh seafood from the fridge. All of it was delicous.
My wife...ordered the last spinach pie and loved it, she also got the portoni salad, now the menu didnt say it came with corn, but it had corn in it, salad was still delicous, just had to eat around the corn as she didnt like it in the mix.More
Real and delicious Greek food with many Greeks eating here. Prices are really good too! Sea view from the nice garden tables and from the street tables. I can recommend it. My favorite of all the restaurants I tried in Nikitas, which I had gone...here everyday.More
