We have visited this restaurant a number of times in the last few years and it never disappoints. Friendly welcome, great food, lovely atmosphere, great service. Enjoyed starters of fried courgettes and fava puree which were great and then mussels saganaki with so much feta...cheese and grilled swordfish. A delicious meal in one of our favourite restaurants on the island. Will definitely return.More

We really enjoyed the food and also the setting for sunset over looking the sea was beautiful. The service was very good too. The only thing I would say is there wasn't much on the dessert menu and there weren't any Greek desserts

My wife and I have been here 2 times with our baby. Just 1 minute walk from Agio Nikitas beach. We had fresh fish both times and choose them directly from the freezer. Upon our request they also boiled some vegetables for our baby. Top...service!More

Everything was fantastic about this restaurant - the view was unreal and the portions very generous and delicious. Ordered a lot of different dishes and every one was perfect. Tip: get there before 8pm to have the best seats in the house for sunset

we have been coming to this taverna in Agios Nikitas for 3 years now. we have tried most places in the town and found that this is the best. the food is always exceptional, the staff very friendly & efficient and it is very good...value. it is popular and sometimes we have to wait for a table for a few minutes, but it is worth it. i would recommend it & we will be back ourselves, many times!More

We were in Agios Nikitas in late August to early September. We eat here 3 times. Always good food. Perhaps the best location in town, looking out over the bay from slightly up the hill. Staff efficient and pleasant and able to advise on food...allergies. After 8pm you might have to que for a table - no reservations.More

Tried to make a booking for a special occasion but was informed they don’t take bookings which was fine. Returned later that night and waited for about 10mins for a table but wasn’t too concerned as I was expecting some quality food and a great...experience seeing as though this tavern was rated 2nd in Agios Nikitas for places to eat. We ordered the Greek salad, pork gyros and grilled sardines. The salad and sardines were good but not a big serving of sardines as we expected based on other restaurants we’ve been to in Greece. The biggest disappointment was the Gyros!! There was hardly any lean meat, it was a fatty, chewy plate of meat which they called gyros. Was expecting a lot more from this type of tavern/prices. At the end of our meal the waitress could see that we hardy touched the gyros and asked if everything was good. I informed her that the gyros was really fatty and not nice and her response was “well it’s Gyros” like that was the norm. We had gyros that was a millions times better at a casual eating place in town so could not accept that response. Based on the rating I wanted to provide my feedback on this place as I believe the quality was lacking and not worth the rating.More

A good traditional tavern with tasty meals. Swordfish there was so well cooked. You can also watch the incredible view of Agios Nikitas Beach ahead.

We ate at T'agnantio on a couple of occasions during our stay in Agios Nikitas and had something of a mixed experience. The taverna was recommended to us by our villa owners so it has a good, local, reputation and, without doubt, has the best...views in town. It's a little hidden gem, down a small alleyway off the main pedestrian road down toward the beach but, once located, it's definitely, what you would hope to find from a typical Greek taverna 08.08.2019 - seated at the first table by the entrance as the place was full 1 x Tomato, Cucumber and Feta salad (bid portion easily feeding the four of us) 1 x Chicken Souvlaki 1 x Meatballs in Tomato Sauce (amazing sauce, definitely the best dish on the menu) 1 x Gyros (big portion) 1 x Mousaka Free/complimentary, small, lemon curd tartlets with the bill - a very nice touch and the only taverna in town that we found that offered something extra like this. A really enjoyable experience on this occasion, but..... 14.08.2019 - what a contrast !! Easily found a table, the furthest one from the entrance this time, right round the corner of the taverna, great view but what went wrong with the menu ?? So many dishes were unavailable including the headliner, the Meatballs in Tomato Sauce, which was the main reason for our visit, oh dear !! Also no Kleftiko, no Stifado on the menu anyway - so few tavernas in Agios Nikitas seem to offer these Greek staples, so went for: 1 x Pork Souvlaki - very tasty 1 x Chicken Souvlaki 1 x Tuna Salad 1 x Stuffed Vine Leaves 1 x Fried Haloumi 1 x Aubergene Balls Stuffed with Feta (really good) Plus the free/complimentary, small, lemon curd tartlets with the bill For some reason, however, the service seemed to be really slow and a little disorganised and several menu items were unavailable, was there a problem in the kitchen ? Who knows, but something wasn't quite right this time A great place nonetheless but just lacking some consistency but, take heart, this is the only place we found with such a great view, that offered a little complimentary extra (not the be all and end all, but always well received) and the Meatballs are the best in town if/when availableMore
