I suppose the fact that the waiter was blowing something off our plates as he approached the table suggested that standards were not very high, and the absence of soap and toilet paper in the ladies toilet did not help either. Pasta was lukewarm and over salted for our palates, and the plate of 'dolci' that came with our coffee... More

Set next to the local memorial to those who perished in 2 World Wars and alongside stunning views of the surrounding countryside this restaurant offered everything Italian from Antipasta through to Pizza

Nice pizza but the antipasti from 12,50 pp is much to expensive. Restaurant is Run by a Family but the two Brothers that Serve the guests Have More attention for other things like sitting with friends and talking to Italian guests.

The place is beautiful, a corner of fairy tale. Choice from the menù is varied. Traditional dishes from Romagna, also excellent meat. I advise it.

We know this place well and the location is magical. Especially if you sit outside, you see the illuminated fortressand the Norman tower of San Leo's cathedral. The food is good like everywhere in Emilia-Romagna, and the last time we had pizza, which was excellent --especially the Pizza Estate with lots of raw cherry tomatoes, bufala mozzarella and rucola. The... More

I ordered ravioli stuffed with wild herbs with a butter and fossa cheese sauce. It was the best pasta that I had the entire trip! We sat outside and the view is beautiful. The house white wine was really good as well. Nothing but good things to say about this place!

My family and I have travelled from Australia to Italy for 5 weeks and were recommended by friends to visit San Leo. We chose the Belvedere to stay in and we are so glad we did!!!! We initially booked for 4 days and have extended to 6 (and wish we could stay longer). The staff are fabulous and very accommodating... More

I had passatelli with sausage and porcini mushroom, grilled sausage with fried chips, red wine della casa, water and nettles liuoe, all was very good beyond our expectations and not too expensive (23eur)! I would definitely go back!!!

Looking for a good restaurant in San Leo we selected the Belvedere thanks to its rating in Tripadvisor (4,5). Maybe we were not lucky as the food (passatelli) looked pre-cooked ( lukewarm and dry) and the grilled meat was nothing special and the grilled vegetables (peppers, aubergies etc.) soggy with oil. Service was indeed good and friendly but the food... More

San Leo is a splendid place to come and visit, providing a beatuful, quaint and suggestive medieval town that sports what might be the most authentic and intact renaissance fort in existence. While you're here enjoying the delightful shops, I would highly recommend a visit to what portends as the nicest restaurant in town, L'Osteria Belvedere. The place is certainly... More
