What a lovely restaurant/gastro pub with lovely staff to match! Food was superb! Will definitely visit again - will make the trip from South Wales it's so good! It's not often that one has to make a really hard choice as there are so many tasty items on the menu!

On visiting on the last Saturday in March to celebrate my birthday I must say that I have never been so disappointed with the food and the service. We were told 40 minutes for food which we accepted as it was rather busy and sat outside in the sunshine to watch the river go by. Poured myself a cup of... More

After a three mile walk along the river we came across The Fleet. First thoughts very good but after ordering the food it soon turned. £2 for 10 chips.... yes 20p per chip... seriously. So to the prawn baguette... well that was a few skinny prawns on a toasted baguette. Extremely disappointing. On the upside the Stowford Press was excellent... More

My first trip to the restaurant for Sunday lunch and would definitely go back. The food was the right portion and lovely. The desserts were definitely homemade. Lovely views from the windows. Can't wait to go again in the summer though will be busy i am sure.

Had dinner here one 'school night' with a friend having been recommended to try the place and wasn't disappointed. Food was very good, served in a short time by friendly staff in a cosy inviting environment. Reasonably priced for the quality of food and would definitely go back - next time during the day to enjoy the location more! Or... More

Stopped on a walk and had a very tasty bowl of soup with a freshly baked roll. Sat outside overlooking the river. Nice staff - I would recommend.

Dear Guests welcome to the Fleet Twyning. We are a beautiful riverside pub on the edge of the river Avon. We pride ourselves on home cooked fresh food along with our traditional Wadworth Ales.

We get extremely busy in the summer time as we are a very popular destination pub and wait time on food can vary from 10 minutes to 1 hour, so we ask you to be very patient with us as we cook all your food to order from fresh produce.

In the winter it is advisable to book in advance as our tables get booked early on for weekends and early evenings.
