Wildman restaurant, Interlake highway
One of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve ever had. The waitress was the saddest excuse for a professional that I’ve ever encountered, my 14 year old works at one of the highest rated restaurants in the south Okanagan and could teach...her a thing or two about customer service and proper COVID protocols. We even have video of her lecturing my daughter about her behavior when her’s was by far worse. The coffee was gross, the food was Lukewarm at best and it is by no means a family friendly restaurant.More
Oh gosh, where do I start!
My partner and I don’t get many date nights with a young baby at home but we got one this evening. We had heard amazing things about Wildmans and decided to go there for our night!
Right away, greeted...by the friendliest waiter. Giant smile and you could see the positivity radiating off of him.
He came over to take our drink orders and I wasn’t sure what I wanted so he came back with options, and informed us that he was the owners husband and that the normal staff had been unable to come into work, that’s why he couldn’t list offhand what the drink selection was.
Without getting into to much detail, hands down the best non-serving server! He was friendly, efficient, attentive and had us in stitches every time he came over to our table. We felt like family!
And the food, it was a super fresh menu done up that day, my partner got the steak sandwich and I the steak and shrimp. It was amazing as well as the calamari appetizer.
Hands down one of the best date nights!More
I just dropped in for a quick bite/snack. They close at 8 pm and I got there about 7. Few customers but quick and friendly service.
A small menu but a fair bit of variety.
The place is licenced and has the usual sort of...drinks list.
The food was hot and fairly tasty
Not gourmet but neither are the prices.More
Would like to review the food but we barely made it past the front doors. The grey haired hag who we assume was the waitress was so rude that we turned around and walked out. She was sooo busy with her two tables that she...could barely give us the time of day! When asked if it mattered where we sat she rudely replied yes and walked away. Won’t be back!More
