The new owners, Viv & Wayne, prepared an excellent 3 course lunch for our group of 19. Very tasty and very filling. Great service too. We even ended the afternoon with an impromptu Karaoke!

A gem - new owners have extended the menu to include tapas. Warm, friendly and in a great location. Well worth a stop or even a detour if you are anywhere near. Hope to be back on our next visit to Spain..

Wonderful food and great service from the owners Ann Marie and Jessica. Who would expect to find such sophisticated fare along a mountain road from Lubrin to Sorbas in the wilds of Almeria? Expect cous, cous, pil pil and other words to appear on the menu and you won't be disappointed. Nice decor comprised of old farm implements. An open... More

After walking nearly a hundred metres from my car I was in need of both physical and cultural nourishment at El Paniajo. There I found both.

We were heading to Lubrin as we had read about a few interesting places to eat there but having left Bedar on the road to Lubrin we happened upon the tiny hamlet of El Marchal. It was early evening on a Saturday and we immediately spied that quite a crowd were seated outside this fabulous place. So decided to pull... More

Great food and sitting in the square listening to live music just topped the experience. Very friendly service and very good on the wallet.

Had yet ANOTHER excellent meal with Jess and Anne Marie! Excellent value for money with food expertly prepared to order. Extensive menu based on fresh produce, small, friendly restaurant and bar, with patio area to enjoy pre-lunch sun - what more can you ask? Well worth the journey.

Once again to Panyajo in El Marchal. 10 of us had another excellent lunch after walking over from Bedar. Weather not kind but nice and warm in the restaurant and the food as usual was excellent and good value. Just love their chicken curry. We love to take friends here and as usual today they were impressed with the friendly... More
